'Totally Strange' Hurdia a Hurdle for Evolution
ICR ^ | September 9, 2009 | Brian Thomas, M.S.

Posted on 09/09/2009 10:05:48 AM PDT by GodGunsGuts

Cambrian rock layers contain fossils that represent almost every modern phylum of animal, plus many that are now extinct. One animal fossil in particular would win the weird prize, if there were one. Paleontologists have been piecing together this strange creature’s body parts, which look as though they were taken from an array of totally different sea animals. This variety of features eludes an evolutionary explanation.

The parts of this particular fossilized animal had previously been described separately and given different names, as though they belonged to different creatures. But a recent study revealed that all these parts came from just one “totally strange” sea creature...

As does Bucky, who also is fond of completely rewriting God’s word to suit his ow n ideology

Not at all, cultmom. The lack of response from you (pl) serves two purposes:

1. It entertains me
2. It exposes you (pl) as frightened, weak faith pseudoChristians

That’s good enough for me.

MrB has you pegged...but then again, all normal Christian conservatives here do.

It’s only your fellow FR closet liberal Teddy Kennedy types that remain incoherent.

Alot of lunatic liberals apparently believe Christian and Catholic are interchangeable and one and the exact same.

Catholics are beholden to Christ, not the other way around skippy.

And that would be anyone with a different opinion than your own right?

Answer it?

Indeed...everytime your circus comes to town someone asks you to define Christianity.

Answer it.

See what I mean about the responses to #73? These cultists actually believe that they understand Christianity.

Thank God they don’t teach science, except, unfortunately, to their own children.

Catholics are Christians.
Episcopalians are Christians.
Lutherans are Christians.
Baptists are Christians...

In fact, one of your YEC pals on this site has no trouble proclaiming the Christianity of Branch Davidians, but can’t be that direct in the affirmation of Catholics!

Is this really a position that you’re proud of?

I have a “liberal Christian” inlaw that, when shown how her ideology conflicts with the plain text of the Bible,

declared that it was “written by angry men” - denying, therefore, the divine inspiration of the Word. (She would have used “white men”, but knew better.)

I guess we all have in-laws, relatives like that...it never ceases to amaze me how liberals get so much so wrong with so little effort. It's as if they make a science out of reality rejection.

Is it a virus that attacks the brain???

Imagine if a scientist discovers the culprit behind liberalism!

humblegunner:
And that would be anyone with a different opinion than your own right?

Anyone and everyone that demands children be indoctrinated and brainwashed by the NEA into believing all we know occured by sheer happenstance, without design, without purpose, without intelligence;

and resorts to lawsuits to enforce godless secular humanism... is CLEARLY a liberal.

Evolution, incapable of tolerating any dissent is clearly and plainly the liberal position.

In essence, liberals hijack science just like they do everything and anything else...liberals didn’t just up and one day decide to play nice or by the rules and benevolently leave science out of their ideological agenda.

To pretend otherwise is... well frankly, also the liberal position!

Yeah, they show up as the Braying Bunch here. Too lazy to understand science, too dumb to read with comprehension, too arrogant to understand Scripture and too obtuse to care.

But hooting and braying and mocking? That they’re well versed in as the rest of this thread will demonstrate.

But a home? No, while here they’re a guest, when they come back, they’re a pest.

Uhhh.. whatever.

I don't demand anything about children being indoctrinated.

I don't have any lawsuits.

I don't mind dissent.

So please tell me how your post (I'll admit the last two paragraphs are beyond me) applies to me.

Really I think you must be some kind of nut.

You trotted out this nonsense before...so I’ll just tell you once again you should consider a Christ centered church, and yes it could be a Catholic one or a Lutheran one, Baptist...whatever...

get into some Bible study and ask some knowledgable people what the Bible actually is, what Christianity actually means...

I would invite you to entertain the services of a cult deprogrammer but if you actually followedd through with this advice, you could knock down two birds with one stone and it would ultimately be the very best decision you could make!

Sorry, my faith isn’t so weak that I must rely on words above Christ. Yours, apparently, is.
