Powerline nicely summarizes the problems with (now former) Obama Administration official Van Jones:
Who do they have in the White House? A self-proclaimed Communist. A vulgar Marxist twice over. A supporter of cold-blooded cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal. A 9/11 Truther . A racist hater, whose hatred extends to the United States. And insofar as his current job is concerned, we have a man who sees the “green jobs” con as a tool for overthrowing capitalism. We have, in short, the complete left-wing nightmare package.

Anyone who believes that Van Jones organization of anarchists and communists isn’t still going to have millions funneled to it is naive. The overthrow of America by these thugs will continue with taxpayer funding. Out only hope is that they blow most of the money on coke and hookers.

Thanks to the MSM’s boycotting this story, 90% of the American people have no idea who this guy was or why he was relieved of his duties.
This morning on ABC’s THIS WEEK, George Stepawhatshisface interviewed Robert Gibbs, Obama spokesman...and together they dismissed this story in under 45 seconds.
None of Jones’ views were mentioned. The only specifics mentioned was that Jones said he was the victim of a smear compaign.
That’s our mainstream media in action.

If Van Jones was as innocent as the Post and the Times imply, why did he resign?
Why didn’t obammy stand by his choice? After all, he has the hopey-changey support of the majority, doesn’t he? His party controls congress, doesn’t it? The media didn’t even cover any of the critics of Van Jones, did it?
So what was obammy afraid of? Why not STAND BY HIS MAN.

Let’s not declare victory just yet boys and girls. It is a good thing that Van Jones has resigned, but now we need to find out how he got there in the first place, and exactly what he was up to while he was in the White House.
Keep in mind he is gone precisely because he is a severe security risk no only to the President, but to the U.S. Government as well. There has to be some kind of accounting to find out what if any highly classified information he had access to, along with some indication of what information he may well have compromised.
Just because he finally resigned after over 2 months of pressure does not mean that this saga is over. Keep in mind that Valerie Jarrett was quoted gushing about how the Administration had their eye on him for a long time. They had to be aware of his activities, and it took someone at or very near the top to over-ride the Secret Service about this guy.
