Van Jones, Barack Obama's Green Jobs Czar, produced a record album entitled "WarTimes: Reports from the Opposition" a few years ago that was narrated by convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal and featured a clip of an interview Jones did where he slammed the United States and Israel and proclaimed his stand with a "global struggle" against the United States.
Jones used his Ella Baker Center for Human Rights to found Freedom Fighter Music, the label WarTimes appeared on. WarTimes is also the name of an anti-war-on-al-Qaeda propaganda newspaper Jones helped organize.
The album was unearthed by the website Verum Serum, which posted a YouTube video with highlights of the album.
About three minutes forty-five seconds in to the highlight video, there is a brief interview with Van Jones at an anti-Israel demonstration where Jones criticizes Israel and calls for Palestinian 'right of return' then unloads on the United States:
"We see violence against poor people and poor people of color within the U.S. border, at the U.S. border, and beyond the U.S. border and you see U.S. tax dollars funding all of it. And so we have this now global struggle against the U.S. led security apparatus and military agenda that impacts people here and impacts people around the world and I think that we need to see our problems as linked."
Mumia closes out the album by describing it as a "small tease of the truth about U.S. imperialism's war on the world."
The time frame of the album is hard to gauge, but Verum Serum writes that Freedom Fighter Music existed from around 2002-2003 to 2005-2006 and produced maybe two or three albums. The album appears to be from late 2002 or early 2003.
Jones mentioned the label in an interview with USA Today's USA Weekend magazine published February 9, 2003 that Verum Serum found:
[I understand you have] developed a record label, Freedom Fighter Music.
Jones: Yes, we've had one for a little more than a year. Our second CD is coming out this year.
Verum Serum gave a link to an MP3 file of the entire album at Indymedia.
It was a correographed media stunt to garner support for him back home.
He reused to organize town halls in public places but instead used union halls who ironically held union meeting right before the town halls. That left no seats for the people who showed up to get in but couldn’t. The union members were also sporting the asrtoturf placards and posters to show support for HR 3200.

Yes, and just WHAT DAMAGE has he done to the U.S. ALREADY!?!? What programs has he ALREADY put in place that need to be undone. I am quite sure he hasn’t just been sitting arounf the WH twiddling his thumbs!
We will need to fully consider some of our most precious Rights and how they were abused to create a culture of subversives and revolutionaries. A clear and careful discussion must be had by those truly aligned with the Constitution. Does marxist propaganda fall under protected Free Speech?
We will need to bring forth educators willing to invest their time and money in our future generations. They, the communists, worked over our public school system for decades. Just because 0bama & his minions are out of office won't mean the cause is won. We will either need to bring forth new schools or force the collapse of the current school system.
We need to realize there are real traitors amongst us.

It's as though the reality of communism, the USSR, tanks rolling into Czechoslovakia and Poland, Tiananmen Square, etc. have been expunged from history. After the collapse of the USSR the left pushed the concept that the collapse proved the USSR was never really a threat. I don't remember Hollywood making a movie about all those who died under Stalin, or about the cultural revolution in China, or the repression that has and does occur under communist/socialist totalitarian regimes everywhere. On the other hand, ‘McCarthyism’ has been featured front and center. It's no wonder these realities are fading from societal memory.
Question....under who’s budget are these clowns paid...simple solution is cut off the funding...that being if the congress critters were truly looking out for America’s best interests... How foolish I am on this Saturday morning!

Van Jones serves a useful purpose. As conservatives get up to speed, more and more will come out, and as it does, more and more of the foundation that Obi Wan Nairobi is trying to build will be revealed.
The MSM (Mainstream Media) is being revealed for the useful idiots they are also. Everyday independents and democrats can understand the dangerous positions that Van Jones has espoused. When they finally begin to get the picture and learn what many conservative have known for awhile, their disgust at both the administration and the MSM will be refreshing.
There are seeds of revolution being broadcast and beginning to take root.
I hope we can hold on long enough to see a rebirth of a true conservative movement.
Time to read the constitution and pray that the Supreme Court will get the right case and have the courage to make the important decision to protect Freedom & Liberty!

During a difficult economic season, Obi Wan Nairobi "spreads the wealth" to several of his old associates, making them Czars in his administration.
It would be interesting to complete a financial profile of some of these czars and show that salary increase spiked their annual income chart and was out of reality with previous employment and income history.
Van Jones is but a symptom. The UC Berkley is the cancer.

I think you’re right, at least to an extent. The media eventually has to report some accuracies to salvage some of their own credibility. And as the saying goes “a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged”, a lot of the ‘hope and changers’ out there are starting to feel mugged by the false promises/outrageous lies of this new administration.
