Adam was created as an adult human.
Extrapolate, with omnipotence, to the entire universe.

The Sun no longer is viewed to rotate around the Earth, yet faith still remains.

And yet it still manages to rise in the morning, and set in the evening.

Don't take my word for it, look at any newspaper, and it will tell you WHEN the sun will rise and set.

"The Earth hangs on Nothing" -- just as true today as when it was written.

If you believe the earth is 4.5 billion years old, that's fine, it's good to have faith in something.

But unless you observed the creation of the earth 4.5 billion years ago, you aren't really a factual observer, just another person repeating a mythology of origins that evolutionists have written based on a usurpation of the actual scientific theory of evolution, couched in the language of science so the evolutionists can dismiss as backwoods fools anybody who doesn't believe their story.

No, you did not show that that statement was not correct.

Is there a prize for having a TRIPLE NEGATIVE in one statement?

Do these jokers think that Darwin discussed Mercury or magnetic fields?

Does anybody in the scientific community actually still worship on the altar of Darwin? I believe the rest of the train has moved on.....

That statement alone shows that you are not a follower of Christ.

You are a charlatan, and are personally responsible for keeping unbelievers from salvation via your anti-science rhetoric.

You also failed to answer the question, what unit where you in and what was your service record?

Wow...I’m glad to see biblical creationists are making such a huge impact in the “former” Soviet Union. Thanks for the update!!!

Makes no difference if you think it means “period of time”. Because if you look at the order of creation, and try to stick a long “period of time” in place of a “day”, most of the creation of one day would have died out before the creation of the next “day”, especially before the actual day and night were created.

I don’t have a strong opinion on the age of the earth, but I am inclined to believe that at some point, God did a 6-day creation. It makes little sense to take millions of years when you can do it all in 6 days.

“God just didn't 'speak' to Moses, God 'appeared' to him. Is this not correct?” [excerpt]
And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

—Exodus 3:2-4

And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
—Exodus 16:10-11

And to clarify, this is what I meant by God speaking to someone.

The Temple of Darwin contains many sects that are tax exempt. You might want to start with the Humanist Society, if you’re not a member already.

Huh, I learn something every day. You finally gave me a fact I didn't know! Amazing!

Note: the Humanist Society, an apparently hippie-dippy group I knew nothing about until 4 minutes ago, is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a nonprofit, tax exempt, 501 (c)(3), publicly supported educational organization.

I did not see anywhere on their site, however, any references to the next Temple of Darwin meeting.

God calls those he chooses, so if people are being turned off by the truth, because they believe in the science of Man more than the word of God, that is because this is the history God has chosen for our time.

I imagine if our modern-day scientists had lived in the time of Moses, they would have explained how impossible the exodus was, much less the idea that bread would just fall out of the sky, or that stone tablets would magically have words appear on them.

Last Thursdayism small g god as a deceiver bump.

I'm convinced half these guys worship Loki or Coyote. I can't think of any other explanation for all the tricks that have been played on us, i.e, giving the earth and cosmos and everything within it the appearance of old age.

It is important to remember who it was who made the first condescending comment:

POX:Honestly, you and yours need to have your heads examined, IMO.

If you come onto a thread, post no actual data to support your position, and tell the other side they need their heads examined, you should expect that someone on the other side might suggest you do the same.

Of course, it's not like anybody comes to these threads with evidence, they are all instead armed with ready-made trash-talk and hate speech.

I know where the Mormon Temple is. I known where my local Jewish Temple is. I know where the Temple on the Mount is and where Temple University is and where the temple on my head is.

Where is the Temple of Darwin?

(And again, thanks. I am learning about the humanists. Well-intentioned fools that they are.)

As well as the admission that any estimate of a young earth is absolutely of no use to the scientific method as the results will always show ‘the appearance’ of great age.

Fine. The world may well “really” be only six thousand years old, or six days, or six hours old. But do NOT try to include those numbers in your calculations, as they are of absolutely no real use (other than ‘knowing’ it is true). Only estimates of great age are of any use in scientific analysis.

It tried to point that out earlier, but I got no response. Apparently, it's ok to insult your opponent if they're a creationist because the high priests of the Temple of Darwin like Richard Dawkins have told the evo-faithful it's justified.

I imagine you are partially correct. However, they would not "have explained" impossible things, they'd simply have asked for evidence that those events occurred. That's a BIG difference. And, I also imagine many, many people in Moses' day had the same doubts, hence, the world wasn't instantly converted to Judaism immediately.

BTW, Joseph Smith found some magical tablets in New York with a magical text on it. And that was far more recent. Why don't you believe him?
