Once again, a NASA space probe is supporting the 6,000-year biblical age of the solar system...

The fact is, if God speaks to you, it is impossible for you to misunderstand Him. So let me guess, if God speaks to someone and he says God says something differing from the dogma, then he didn't misunderstand God, and God didn't change policy, we just call him a false prophet and say God didn't actually speak to him.
You win no matter what.
To: GodGunsGuts
Your evo-religion has permeated virtually every field of science. You dont notice it anymore because you surrendered your soul to the Temple of Darwin long ago.
Your paranoia is atrong, GGG. Go forth, and let your spam posts multiply!
Now where can I see about my tax-free Church of Darwin status?

The fact is, if God speaks to you, it is impossible for you to misunderstand Him.God speaks to each of us, all the time.
Most do not listen, many choose to misconstrue the message, because it is inconvenient, and doesn't fit with what we 'want'.
Also, I think there is an important detail 'we' are leaving out.
God just didn't 'speak' to Moses, God 'appeared' to him. Is this not correct?

You said Moses UNDERSTOOD that is what God meant by one day.
How can you insist you know what Moses understood, [excerpt]
Because of what Moses wrote and Christ asserted was true.
or what God was trying to convey? [excerpt]
God does not
try to convey something.
He just
does, and perfectly, the first time.
It is not always accepted though.

I would agree that the article does not support the ‘excerpt’ line qouted by GGG at the beginning of this whole thread.
The info on the mag field of Mercury so far proves nothing of the age of the Earth, nor the Solar System, nor Galaxy, nor Universe.

The Temple of Darwin contains many sects that are tax exempt. You might want to start with the Humanist Society, if you’re not a member already.
To: GodGunsGuts; ElectricStrawberry
This old joke shows the attitudes perfectly:
An Army grunt stands in the rain with a 30 pound pack having marched 15 miles and says “This sucks.”
A Marine stands waist deep in the water with a 60 pound pack having marched 20 miles and says smiling “This sucks just fine!”
A Special Forces soldier lies in the mud with an 80 pound pack after running 20 miles through enemy territory and sloshing through 10 miles of swamp, and he laughs “This really sucks and I wish it could suck some more!”
An airman sits in his air-conditioned quarters and says “The cable’s out. This sucks!”
A seaman looks to the shore and says “It sure sucks over there.”
The rivalries are fine. The important thing to remember is that we’re on the same side.
To: whattajoke
Now where can I see about my tax-free Church of Darwin status?Temple. Not church. Remember, facts are very important here.

No, you did not show that that statement was not correct.
You showed your ignorance of the relationship between the old and new Testament.
I’m not going to argue with a brick, sorry.

GGG, my Grandfather was Master Sergeant in U.S. Army 36th Division, he saw action in 5 major campaigns.
North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, and was awarded a Bronze Star with five clusters.
What was your service record?

Did GOD tell Rev. Wright to say God Damn America? He hates America, so God hates America. It's not coincidence that God tends to say what those he's communicating with want him to say.
To: UCANSEE2
yes he did but it was really big and he had to keep it on his brontosaurus.

The age of this planet is not a matter of faith, it is established fact. [excerpt]
Well, you are wrong on that point.
Everything could have come into existence 5 minutes ago with the appearance of great age, and you would have no idea.
As far as that goes, you have
faith that it didn't.
You have
faith in your
interpretation of what you call evidence that you claim establishes the factualness of an age which you assert is that of the Earth.
If the Earth was only 6000 years old, then explain to me why there are so many visible stars in the sky at night, most much more than 6000 light years away. [excerpt]
Your getting the dust cloud ahead of the camel.
An entity capable of creating everything that is in existence is certainly capable of making stars a great distances visible.
God gave a number of reasons given why He created the stars, but 'universal dating service' was not one of them.
