The program is 1984 style, Big Brother cult-of-personality politics. The White House and public education officials are STILL seeking to foster it. Changing the program notes doesn’t change the program itself. He needs to keep his creepy, imperious, self-righteous face out of the schools altogether. Because he won’t, our household will celebrate an Obama-flu day on September 8.
The speech was only the tip of the iceberg. The plan was to spend the day discussing all the ways O has helped the country.
No surprise that O has partnered with the NEA, but this goes beyond the pale.
