Obama in the classroom: President to address school students September 8 (Not my kids!)

There's quite a buzz going around about Tuesday, September 8th.

That's the day President Obama will address PreK-12 students via televisions and screens in public school classrooms, auditoriums, and 'cafetoriums' across the nation. This is a feat never before attempted by a sitting president.

Reactions are mixed, no doubt in part because our nation is politically polarized. While some parents think it is a good idea for the president to reach out to school kids, others disagree. Why? Many prefer to be the gate-keeper of social and spiritual influences and want politics and religion kept out of schools.

Some parents view the president's move as over-reaching and suspect that propaganda will be forced on a young, impressionable, captive audience. Many of these concerned parents are rallying to keep their children home on September 8th. There are movements at work to boycott public schools on that Tuesday.

The wide open brashness from them is staggering.

The oblivious ignorance from the brainwashed masses, whilst the Nazi's nearly bare all of their evil roots isn't even funny anymore.
I fail to accept recently, that with all the information out there in the Public domain, that people are simply 'ignorant' to he truth, I'm starting to believe that the consenting masses are doing just that, consenting to what he and his puppeteers have on offer, with full understanding.

I am angry (and frightened!) and I don’t even have kids in school anymore!

I would be afraid to put mine in public schools now....and
I am thankful that my kids are going to home-school their
daughter!

....and we wonder why more parents are opting for
that choice! It’s a no-brainer with Zero in mind-control mode!

My husband says that I get too worked up about this stuff (this topic and everything Glenn Beck brings to light). He says as Christians we are just supposed to accept what happens and not fight it. I’ve been married to him for 16 years and I’m in shock. I’d been hoping he’d change his mind and go to DC with me and my 11 and 14 yo daughters on 9/12. Guess I’m on my own. Wow.

That is exactly what I said to him. He told me that Jesus was trying to right a *religious* wrong (not political) and that when the Jews wanted to be freed from Roman subjugation that He didn't get involved.
