The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11 (see trends).

Not only a low for total approve, but also a new high for total disapprove. While the index is the difference in strongly approve/disapprove, consider a vanilla index of total approval. This value peaked at -5 three times (8/13, 8/16 and 8/30). Well, today jumps by leaps and bounds, completely skipping over a record -6 total approval index, and now landing on a record -7 total approval index.

Ouch. -11 is going to leave a mark, but the MSM still won’t report on it until his actual approval rating (currently at 46%) dips down into the 30s so they can make GWB comparisons.
