My family got our 27? page census form. Many intrusive Q's like how many bathrooms in our house and what time to we go to work. In my continuing campain to be prisoner #1 in the gulag, I ripped off the front page and wrote the number of people living at my address and that we were all US citizens, even though they never asked in the entire booklet our citizenship. I also told them that that's all the info that Rahm and Acorn needed to know. Here's where it gets interesting. Since sending the form in, ACORN has been calling my wife's cell phone (we don't have a land line)number relentlesly, every day of the week. They always call from different area codes and leave a msg about a case number. Wow. I'm on my way.
Can you have these census takers arrested for trespassing after you have asked them to leave?
Take over the minds of the nations children & indoctrinate them from the school. Marxism!
Good one, (wiccan) and tell them you cast spells on evil people as your occupation!!!
BTTT
Can someone try to put it on headlines? It won’t let me. Either I’m doing it wrong.....or there is a copyright prob.
Don’t know. We made it abundantly clear that the jerk was not welcome. He walked past a closed gate and two NO TRESSPASSING signs.
That’s exactly what I do, too.
If it says “Ethnicity”, I put “Native American” - I was born in Texas, and I can trace my family back to the Mayflower - I’m just as Native as anyone else.
When that happened to me, I did call the sheriff. They traced it to a relatively near-by location and told me it was likely an automatic dialler used for robo-calls. Now, I simply ask, once, if anyone is there and then hang up. The few times that a number appeared on caller ID, I checked that number on whocalledus.com (from memory, could be an inaccurate URL)and each time it was part of a large phone bank and everyone who posted comments had the same experience of silence after answering.
I have noticed that other calls often begin a few seconds after I answer and are almost always sales pitches, lately for zerO’s various loan adjustment programs. I hang up immediately. We are on the no-call lists for landline (business) and cell numbers. It has cut the number of calls to a minimum.
I just read your link.
excerpts:
Anyone tempted to ignore the 2010 Census will have a tough time doing it especially if they have kids in school.
The government has launched Census in Schools, an all-out campaign targeting superintendents, principals, teachers, students and, indirectly, parents, as schools open across the nation this month and next. The message: The Census is coming and here’s why everyone should care.
The goal is to send posters, teaching guides, maps and lesson plans to every school in the nation, Puerto Rico and U.S. island territories to encourage everyone to participate in the national count. The materials will land in more than 118,000 schools and reach 56 million students.
“It’s great to reach the children because children are such strong voices in their homes,” says Renee Jefferson-Copeland, chief of the Census schools program. “In households that are linguistically isolated, they can express the information to their parents.”

Here’s another one:
Census uses foreign language to get numbers, ease fears

The better the count, the bigger the numbers and the greater the clout. Political representation in Congress, district boundaries and federal funding all are determined by the Census.
“Being counted has empowering aspects,” says Browne, whose network in April launched the year-long “Hazte Contar!” (Be Counted!) campaign.

DO NOT FILL OUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE NUMBER LIVING IN YOUR HOUSE!
You will get threats. “$5,000 fine.”, etc. That has NEVER happened in 28 years.
Lawyers are SALIVATING for them to try it and get it to the Supreme Court. PRAY that they fine you! Take them up. The American PEOPLE will be fully behind you, and this administration’s approval rating will drop 10% more overnight.
By the way, I got the “long form” 10yrs ago, and filled out only the number living in my home. They called. They came by, and I gave them a copy of the Constitution and asked them to point out where it was listed. “I’ll talk to my supervisor.” One more phone call from supervisor. That was the end of their hassling me.
It took a lot less time than filling out the form, and was a lot more fun.
Thanks!
Do NOT fill it in.
Challenge them to fine you!
We need them to do that... and EVERYONE should refuse.
You will have plenty of lawyer assistance.
Absolutely not; they are the forerunners of BO’s Brownshirts.
Anytime ... fight this crap!
I just choked on my lunch reading your response. Love it!!!
“My name Jose Jimenez....”
Just listeing to Glenn Beck on radio going over the same thing. Lawyers are lining up waiting to take the first case of this kind. It’s uunconstitutional, you only have to give the number of peopke in your household.
NO NO NO....
Don’t give them anything other than # persons, age & sex.
I would not even sign the form.
There is nothing they will do - Unfortunately.
Pray that they make the stupid error of fining you. Lawyers are hoping and praying to get this issue in front of the USSC. You’ll get plenty of help, and this administration will SINK in ratings. Nearly all Americans resent this intrusion, and will support you.
Please keep us posted. Feel free to add me to a ping list on this subject, as I plan to do the same thing when this trash shows up.
When pi$$ed, I am not a nice man. Should one of those idiots actually show up at my house... well, I sure hope they don’t.
“Respondents are required to answer all questions on the American Community Survey (ACS) to the best of their ability.”
There are so many questions that I’m just not sure about. I get so confused sometimes I just really don’t know what the answers are.
