Tuesday, the Congressional Research Service (CRS) the "research arm" for the United States Congress issued a report validating an analysis by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) that illegal aliens would be able to receive benefits under the House health care reform bill, America's Affordable Health Care Act of 2009 (H.R. 3200). The report, Treatment of Noncitizens in H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitizens - whether legally or illegally present, or in the U.S. temporarily or permanently...
CRS also confirms... that the House bill does not include a mechanism to prevent illegal aliens from receiving "affordability credits" that would subsidize the purchase of private health insurance. CRS specifically noted the absence "of a provision in the bill specifying the verification procedure." Because the language is ambiguous, all CRS could reasonably conclude is that any eligibility determination would be the responsibility of the Health Choices Commission.
The CRS analysis comes after weeks of denials by members of Congress that illegal aliens could receive benefits under the House bill...
"Case closed. Illegal aliens will be aligible to participate...in the health care program" stated Dan Stein, president of FAIR. "The loopholes and omissions in the House bill are not there by accident," continued Stein. "These loopholes were intended to extend benefits to illegal aliens while allowing members of Congress to dent those facts to the American people."

His amendment would have employed the use of 2 verification procedures already used by the federal government to check on income eligibility and citizenship status. The verification procedures the governemnt already uses are IEVS and SAVE.

It is time to nuke ObamaCare.
The voting down of the Amendment you mentioned, alone, proves that the Dems plan to give ObamaCare to illegals. Why shoot down such an Amendment if there are no plans to give illegals free ObamaCare?
Even more troubling...is that no other socialized medicine providing nation would allow foreign nationals...who are not citizens or legal residents....would allow free medical to illegals or those on tourist visas, etc. Get sick or injured in Canada or Europe....and see if they give you free care. Hope they accept your US based insurance, or, have travel insurance....or you will pay thru the nose

For reasons I cannot unravel, it’s about getting those 20 million++ illegal alien peasants into the United States, giving them American Z Visas and American identities, and making sure that they have taxpayer-funded medical coverage.
All at the expense of everyday American citizens.
I know that the construction, fast food, and meatpacking industries all love and support their illegal peasant labor force, I’m not so sure why they want to create this semi-permanent underclass paid for by their American citizen customers.

Yes..I specifically looked for the illegal provisions. And no where does it say that they will NOT be eligible. In fact, the bill gives the fascist the right to access citizens Irs docs, INCLUDING immediate relatives. And access to private bank accounts.
There is NO provision anywhere that requires proof of citizenship for the obvious illegals.
