They had already started a whisper campaign before Kennedy died about naming it after him in order to pass it. They were telling the press to start talking about it on 'news' shows according to one pundit on Fox News this morning.
I agree. They can shove it! I don't care who they name it after I DON'T WANT IT!
Obama & team have tried everything to get traction on this crap and nothing has worked. Naming it after Kennedy is only going to tick off more people. The Kennedy's have always been seen by beltway & elites as royalty. To the rest of us they were elite trash.

When Fox News was listing all the legislation this morning that Kennedy had his name attached to I understand why I despise him (even more now)! Talk about socialist crap with the help of Ted's 'good friends' in the Republican party like Orrin Hatch, George Bush, et al! That's what you call bipartisan socialism and I'm SICK OF IT!
I will offer this bit on advice (I heard it in the past and it is appropriate here).
Don’t follow a diet based on someone who was rumored to have died while obese (Atkins).
Don’t follow an exercise plan from someone who was suspected to have of died of a heart attack (Arthur Lydiard).
And don’t listen to a dead man about the future our nation’s health care system. Ted Kennedy will NEVER have to live under this system. Same for the other old farts in the Legislature. Step aside.
If it is fair enough to tell men that they should have no voice in abortion because they will never “have one”, then so goes the argument for the elder statemens to impose socialized medicine on this Nation.
Who saw this coming.

Kennedy’s funeral will make that look like a paupers grave ceremony compared to what is coming. This will be used and twisted and wrung-out for every little possible advantage it can be pimped for. I just hope the American people see and recognize it for what it will really be,
