Obama's Worst Poll Number
Real Clear Politics ^ | Today | Jay Cost

Gallup's breakdown of Obama's job approval by age was illuminating.

First off, note Obama's drop-off among young people. Young people were supposed to be a critical component of the new Democratic majority. Granted their approval is still slightly higher than the other groups, but it has far and away been the most volatile, dropping more than any other. This should not come as a huge surprise. Baby Boomers were partial to McGovern in 1972, but swung around to Reagan in the 80s. Young people's political dispositions are still being formed.

Check out the chart.

This makes me recall during the election how Obama prodded his bots to contact the relatives in Florida to urge them to vote for Obama. He also said for them to ask their grandparents to talk to their neighbors to urge them to support Obama as well.

Boy have they been sold out. I bet there are some angry neighbors in Florida right about now. Maybe they aren't talking.

From “Rules for Radicals” by Obama’s hero, Saul Alinsky:

RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

QUESTIONS?

Obama is on TV at least once everyday and his tone has changed dramatically.

He is strident, dismissive, haughty, and arrogant.

His anger does not play well and is off putting to people with class.

“Boy have they been sold out”

The ones who voted for him DESERVE everything they get(or don’t get) in my opinion.

Somewhere along the line, the younger voters are going to start realizing that THEY are the folks who will be paying MUCH more taxes to cover this profligate spending. When they do, look out below.

The one age group that is least likely to change opinions is the one that includes the still-stupid-liberals from the hippy generation - mid60’s-mid70s... After that period of time, people were more affected by Carter/Reagan. Before that, people grew up with Ike. Many hippies are still hoping to change the world and nothing will sway them. They don’t make up the whole age group, but those unconvertable idealists make up more of that age group than any other.

Don’t I know it. Living in a super-liberal mecca, I’ve had more than sufficient experience with this.
