Yeah, got them wrong but thanks!
Clorox's active ingredient sodium hypochlorite.
Thanks! Several FreePers have mentioned that ... the hydroxide for some reason popped into my brainbox .....
You know what also good
Walgreens essential cleaning products they are good
I think a moose bit his sister.
I never thought I would do this; but I am actually looking to see if any of these advertisers are on the products I buy. If they are; I don’t buy them.
I used to participate in boycotts but stopped. I finally figured out that since crap always rolls downhill that all I was doing was hurting the regular person like me when the company had to cut back due to low sales.
I work for one of those companies that are being boycotted and the end result is that people like me are the ones that end up getting hurt. My employer treats us good and we make a good wage but we also have NO say in the decisions regarding advertising and marketing.
I don’t bite the hand that feeds me regardless of how I feel about some of the decisions they make. I can’t see putting regular Americans out of work by boycotting the products they make. There are a lot of good conservatives like me that depend on jobs these companies provide.
Yup, did so much of it it’s a verb in many circles (”I totally McGyvered that”). Great show. And some of his things, not many but some, actually work in the real world.
I’m not dithering, I just realized most of the places I was boycotting weren’t missing my money nearly as much as I was missing their products. I’m not sure lying to a company and saying I’m boycotting them when I’m not is really a path towards a more moral country.
Well, I'm old enough to remember the old .. old .. shows, like Dinah Shore, Dean Martin, Jack Benny, The Honeymooners, and George Burns, and they all had either just one sponsor or one major sponsor and a couple of minor ones who sponsored that particular show.
I'm sure that the sponsors, in those days, had a significant say in what appeared on shows bearing their brand name. And, in my opinion, the shows were better for it. Just like the days when the studios "owned" the movie stars and kept a tight rein on them to prevent a backlash by the public for something they said or did.
Darn kids ... stay off my lawn ... [/old man mode]

Yeah but I can look myself in the mirror every morning.
Ya, true. I remember seeing a DVD on The Smother’s Brothers and how they had to submit their stuff to the CBS head to make sure it wouldn’t upset the sponsors .... then too, here in Seattle I remember reading where Nordstrom pulled their ads from the Seattle Times because of some editorial they didn’t like ....
This is pretty significant, when you consider they’ll be pulling GreenWorks advertising off liberal talk shows also.
And, Clorox brand loyalty is about as strong as it gets, deservedly so, and I doubt any amount of ‘shuffling’ will hurt.
