Additional documents uncovered by WND support a previous report that President Obama's parents did not live together as husband and wife at the Honolulu address listed in birth announcements in two local newspapers.
Both newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, carried the announcement that Barack Obama Jr. was born Aug. 4, 1961, to Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, residing at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Additional research has established that the grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, lived at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, not Barack Obama Sr. and Ann Dunham.
Moreover, Mr. and Mrs. Obama apparently did not live together after their marriage, with Dunham evidently remaining in the rented 6085 Kalanianaole Highway house.
Barack Obama Sr. lived alone at an 11th Avenue address in Honolulu, closer to the university. Dunham left Hawaii for Seattle in August 1961, the month of Barack Obama Jr.'s birth, to study at the University of Washington.
WND can find no listing in the Polk directories to document Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. ever living at the same address.

I supsect that is the case, father unknown and that is what he is trying to hide ....
The twins are supposed to be #4 and #5 from the left on the same row at Hussein in the kindergarten pic. They are fraternal so do not look alike. One is blonde, the other is brunette. Below is a pic of the girls as adults:
“So why didnt this guy know last year that the Dunhams lived at that address according to the Polk Directory?”
That’s why I posted the entire article - a team of investigators - and they DIDN’T check out the Polk Directory?
I’m going with Beatrice Arakaki. She lived next door since before 1961.
You beat me to the pic! Eleanor and Robert are currently living by UH as are a couple of their kids. Zaba is interesting.
Blah, getting my tabs all goofy while trying to put rug rats to bed.
I wonder if either of the twins have been asked about their birth announcement NOT appearing in the newspaper?
People also move for financial, space, and landlord reasons.
..last I heard...on the previous Long Thread, ‘the twins were not giving interviews.’
Not giving interviews or told ‘not to’.
Ordinarily I remain on topic and have provided links AND sources numerous times regarding Orland and Thelma Lefforge and fail to see any point in continually repeating them ad nauseum to you, LucyT and Iowan who have taken it upon yourselves to become the source and link police for only comments which I make. I have more important matters which must be attended to and I feel rather sorry for the three of you who decided to make things personal. Please rememember that “there but for the grace of God go I...” and take it from there. I have not been on Line since late May and there is every reason to believe that you will not see me around past 2009 so take that for what it is worth. Remember words type in haste can not be taken back.
SINCERELY
Mrs Chief
The Nordyke twin girls were born the next day(early evening 6 pmish) and the only reason I can see for their names not appearing in the Vital Stats birth announcements was that an entire story was devoted to them considering their fathers position as a doctor. I never did find out how many beds were available at the Kapiolani Maternity Home at the time nor did I find out exactly what Doctor Nordykes position (he was an internist wasnt he?) was at the time or what residents worked at the hospital at the time.
Their long form Certificate of Live Birth shows that it was not filed until August 11th, whereas BHO Jr's was supposedly filed 3 days earlier. This is itself odd, since they were born on Friday night (~7 PM) (The One) and Saturday afternoon (~2 PM,(the Nordyke twins. But could mean that the Twins announcement might have slipped to the next release. The latest birth shown was on the 7th, which might have been filed as early as the 8th or 9th, and thus made it into that edition.
Has anyone checked *the next edition* of the paper(s) to see if the twins showed up there? I think that even if there had been a special story/blurb about them, their announcement(s) would have still shown up in the list generated from the vital statistics office within the Health Department at some point.
Whoops! Isn’t it funny - Neil Abercrombie, the only man on earth who maintains he ever saw Obama Sr and Stanley Ann Dunham together arrived in Hawaii in the same year and from the same place 1959, from Buffalo as Barbara Nelson, who told us how Dr West (deceased, naturally) gave her the news that ‘today, Stanley Ann had baby’ - and Barbara wrote the name on a table napkin, because the name sounded so ‘musical’ - and meanwhile, although she says she never knew Stanley Ann at the time, though she taught at the East-West Centre where Obama Sr and Stanley Ann met at a Russian Class, Eleanor Nordyke was having twins in the same hospital where little Barry was born, and Eleanor’s husband, practiced as a nuclear medicine specialist in a clinic in the same street as the ‘birth announcement’ address, but the twins’ birth announcement cannot be located...somebody forgot? And who did they send the flowers to? Nobody knew Mrs and Mrs Obama, they were not living together...so I guess if Mr or Mrs Lefforge got the Congratulations! cards and flowers they sent them back?...now tell me again, who was it met Madelyn on a cruise in 2002? I forgot...ah, now I remember, that was Eleanor, she described how Madelyn told her that her grandson was a social worker, when he was actually a Senator and maybe she didn’t know that Madelyn’s osteoporosis was so bad that she couldn’t walk without a walking aid...but heck, if you run it all together real quick, it’s so believable, isn’t it?
And that’s all just off the top of my head.
There is no conflict. She doesn't remember BHO Sr and Stanley Ann living there together. The Polk directory doesn't show BHO Sr. living there. She could have missed Stanley Ann and little Barry, since, IF he was ever there at all, he could have been there for only a few weeks, before being bundled off to Seattle. A baby would mostly be inside for those few weeks.
Or father named and not "black". Hawaiian maybe, Australian Aborigine, or even Indian.
Don’t you find it curious that the ‘team of investigators’ from the 2008 WND article never bothered to check out the Polk Directory?
But what was surprising was the high percentage of Japanese first names, also Spanish or Portuguese ones.
A little, but they hit the ownership records, and just assumned the owners lived there. They knew that the Dunhams had lived elsewhere about that time, so would not have gone looking for them. Might have looked for BHO Sr and found him at the 11th street address.
Remember the local Rags didn't know that the Durhams had lived there either, they just assumed that the Lefforges lived in the Big House, while SA, BHO Sr and JR lived in the servants quarters out back. It was only when they "discovered" that SA had popped up Washington state, as early as late August, that the "team", which might very well be one full time and one part time person, thought to re-look at the Hawaii residences.
granted, he would hardly have been running around in the yard...but tell me, (I'm an Aussie) how does one get into the Polk Directory? Is it through a telephone number listing or some other form of registration? I mean to ask, when is the data collected, how long might it be between the collection of data and the distribution? It cannot happen overnight. I imagine an interval of several months between compilation and Directory distribution. See...that's one problem I have with the WND snippets shown on their website, they are snips from a page. We really do not know WHAT YEAR the listings relate to, do we?
That was just about the best synopsis I’ve read so far! Whew... breathe, Fred, breathe.
Interesting that Abercrombie arrived in 1959...didn’t Obama, Sr. arrive then, too? Maybe they met before their arrival in Hawaii?
There are too many dead people in BO’s background and those that are still living are keeping their mouths shut.
Do we really know if Granny was on a cruise with Eleanor Nordyke? A 3 week cruise would’ve been pretty expensive. Maybe her grandson surprised her?
As usual....more questions than answers.
