Obama is speaking before the VFW now. Except for a dozen people or so, they are sitting on their hands. Vets know who the real Obama is. Occasional applause for apple pie statements. For the most part, silence.
Tell me a little more about that, if you don’t mind. He actually was talking about a nuclear attack and laughed? What was the context of the remark? Was he actually laughing at the notion that we could ever suffer a nuclear attack?
I understand there were about 13,000 people there. You could only the applause of about 50. That should tell him something. Like was said, he probably couldn’t wait to get out of there. He hardly ever looked them in the eye. He looked only at the teleprompter.

The media has been corrupt in their responsiblities to the public for a LONG time. They serve the Democrat Party, not the public interest or even an objective interest in recording history.
Kanye West made a racist remark about GW Bush and from it the public was informed (that in the words of at least on celebrity at a network fundraiser for the Katrian victims) “George Bush doesn’t like black people”.
The double standard was glaring.
Obambi can’t handle the pressure of the office. GW Bush faced a far more hostile media and public. The media laughed when an Iraqi journalist threw a shoe at Bush and they wished it’d hit him. I was able to get a couple of snapshots before I had to walk the rest of the way to work this morning. The folks in charge made sure there was a street or two or three between the probamas and the antibamas. I did, however, see a few antibamas in the middle of the probamas, but they were just trying to get to some coffee and they had their signs down.
I think it was about even steven in terms of numbers. I saw some good signage from our side [antibama] and I took a couple of pictures.
Just so happened that the demonstrations took place right by my work, so I was just a few minutes late getting to my seat in cubeville.
