With my tinfoil hat securely placed, I believe that Obama found time to go see his grandmother 2 weeks before Election Day, to make an excuse for spending that much travel time "off the campaign trail" in order to make absolutely sure that his REAL birth certificate stayed securely locked away from any snooper. (I believe that he was born in HI, but that embarrassing info is on the actual birth record, and he was worried that a pre-election revelation of such info might cost him lots of votes.)

Madelyn Dunham, Obama's Grandmother, Dies

With just two weeks to go before the presidential election, Obama left the campaign trail to visit Dunham in Honolulu. She had recently broken her hip, and Obama told ABC that visiting her was important to him.

"One of the things I wanted to make sure of is that I had a chance to sit down with her and talk to her," he said. "She's still alert and she's still got all her faculties, and I want to make sure that I don't miss that opportunity right now."

Back from church.

Medicare supplemental insurance only pays for items covered by Medicare. For example, if your doctor recommends a treatment not covered by Medicare your insurance won’t cover it either.

With my parents’ insurance (through the retired teacher’s association) it covered the deductible on the ALLOWED fees. That meant if the real fee was $1000, Medicare allowed a total fee of $500, of which they paid 80%. The insurance would pay the 20% of the $500, not 20% of $1000.

And of course, all of this is very confusing to many seniors. And lots of people who are NOT seniors.

Imagine how powerful Saracuda would be if she wasn’t a “quitter”.

She isn't a quitter. She's a General who knows how and when to cut her losses to fight another day and take the battle to the enemy!

The Dims had her hemmed in tight in the Alaskan Stalingrad Pocket but now she has broken out on the right flank and is doing her own encirclement. That's why they are gnashing their teeth in rage and panic.

The possibilities are endless. A huge entourage may of which were lawyers went with him on the same trip,so what really went on? Without investigative journalists on the scene we may never know.

Actually lots of elderly die after a broken hip. I was shocked to learn, when my vigorous eighty-something aunt broke her hip, that only about 25% of the elderly recover completely from a fractured hip.

Chicken or egg? Did the person fall as a result of a stroke or other chronic condition, or did the trauma of the break and its medical/surgical treatment cause the body to not be able to call on enough reserve to get to a post-op healing stage.

Sadly, my aunt was not among the 25%.

I just heard on Steffi’s panel that Obama has an OpEd in today’s New York Times.

When is enough enough?????
He is going around the country compliments of the taxpayer to sell his program, and every appearance is covered for hours by tv programs.

Now he gets to have his “opinion” take up space in the NYT!!!!

Armey and Coburn really tagteamed Daschle and Maddow onto the ropes. Gregory will get notes from Axelrod and Gibbs for this “incorrect” show. Transcripts and videos will ‘mysteriously’ disappear.

LOL. Too late. We saw and heard what we did. Dr. Tom Coburn should continue to be front and center on this issue. He brings more experience and understanding to health care/insurance issues than 99% of the other congressional folk.

Sad but true, here is another little tidbit that the rats will never ever talk about when it comes to insuring the illegals which is a huge cost.
