The big problem is, he should have reasoned that way from the beginning. I really don’t think he has a grasp of us ‘common’ folks. A’course, no one inside the beltway does.

Yes. Limbaugh said the same thing about the "inside the beltway" mentality at the time Charles wrote his piece. The media was focussing on the most angry opponents and ignoring the fact that there was a groundswell of citizens very concerned about losing their current health care. Polls are showing that voters would rather have no change than the current legislation that has been proposed.
