A racially charged activist group called Color of Change founded by Van Jones, a special advisor to the Obama Administration, is trying to silence popular radio and Fox News personality Glenn Beck by calling for a boycott of Becks TV advertisers.
On July 28th, Beck made a comment on the Fox & Friends morning show about Obamas reaction to the arrest of Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. During the discussion of Professor-Gate, Beck connected the Presidents past association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright to Obamas comment that Cambridge police officer, Sgt. James Crowley, acted stupidly. Though Beck acknowledged most of the Obama administration is in fact white, he concluded that the Presidents world experience made him a racist.
Now Color of Change has bullied at least five of Becks big advertisers -- SC Johnson, Progressive Insurance, Geico, Procter & Gamble and Nexus Lexis -- to pull their ads from Becks national cable program. Jones, the founder of Color of Change, was named Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality -- a key administrative post -- this past March.
Putting tax-payer dollars to dubious use, the not-for-profit organization has hired well-heeled Hollywood publicist Ken Sunshine to further instigate the boycott.

Heh-heh, the very same Van Jones who was arrested during the post-Rodney King verdict riots, who went to jail as an anarchist and came out a communist?
Oh yeah, that POS.
The thugs at work. Be proud you liberals of what you have done to this country.
That's really not what Glenn said.
Here's a better description of Glenn's position, in his own words. You can decide for yourself whether he has documented his claim.
WE surround Them!
Don’t know how much bullying it would take to get SC Johnson to stop advertising. The current generation of Johnsons are a bunch of enviroweenie liberals.
We must stop them.
Their intent is to destroy the White middle-class.
He’s your typical poverty pimp using “save the planet” through “green jobs”.

He looks and sounds like your typical back street thug in an inner city.
Oh yeah! that guy! part of the healing-bring-us-all-together-administration! He comes up a lot. The Obama roster is so entertaining!
It will be difficult to boycott SC Johnson and Procter & Gamble because together they have so many products but I’m going to give it my best shot.
Beck’s words are not inciteful though they are insightful...and generally true. On the other hand...Van Jones’ words are flaming hyperbole disigned to absolutely incite. If this guy is getting public money, I want it back!!!
This is a lot of smoke. The advertisers who “canceled” merely requested that their spots not be aired in Becks spot. They did not remove them from Fox.
“...do not want to assimilate.. they want to be separate and in this case, ...”
The problem with that is by insisting on a separate ‘black talk’ or ebonics, they are consigning themselves to the ‘hood, which offers no promise, no future, for the young. Any decent-paying job requires a certain level of proper grammar and language.
But I guess they can feel good about themselves.
My younger sister just recently started watching Glenn Beck religiously and she is the LAST person to be political! She is getting outraged about what she is seeing with this diabolical administration. When I went to the dentist a few months ago the dental assistant told me her sister calls her to tell her what Glenn Beck is saying every day! Word is getting around. America is waking up!

You aren’t kidding they put out a lot of products....
Well then!
Glenn Beck & AMERICA win over this company!!!
Van Jones: Ho, ho, ho...Green Jobs Czar
I would try not to buy their products also.
I can not become one of those aisle clogging nitwits reading all the product's contents etc. and working their tiny calculators!
Why should an advertiser even care about what a bunch of do-nothing, no resources blacks have to say about an issue anyway? What, are they some important target group for the advertising? Gimme a break.
