The St. Louis Tea Party will hold a press conference and peaceable protest at SEIU Headquarters 5585 Pershing Ave., Suite 130, St. Louis, MO 63112 at Noon Saturday, August 8, 2009
snip The Tea Party specifically requests the NAACP and the ACLU to come out in support of Kenneth Gladneys rights which were trampled by these hooligans. We call on Representative Russ Carnahan to denounce the beating. We call on President Obama to denounce the beatings. We call on St. Louis County to prosecute the assailants to fullest extent of the law.

If the SEIU is going to act as a brownshirt brigade then it should be protested. However, you are right that this is dangerous and the people going to the protest should realize that they are running a risk of being attacked.
Wow...this is kind of like Iran.
I wouldn't care if the thugs were followed home with protests...Afterall, the SEIU bussed their protesters to the homes of executives.
It also wouldn't bother me if the handles for the protest signs were ax handles.
Excellent!!
That's why there should be armed support on-call off-site. No problems, no call.
If there are problems, call the calvary!
(( Crickets chirping ))
“Somebody is going to get hurt or killed if this keeps up.”
They already are. But they weren’t until Obama called out his army of union thugs. I think this is a wake up call for all of us....we are at war, truly at war... for our country, our constitution, and our liberty, our very lives.
So the thugs started the fight and Mr. Gladney fought back? I'm glad someone got it on video, so the thugs can't say the trouble started with Mr. Gladney.
It’s the trees of liberty need to be refreshed from time to time.
Excellent points. The Left can dish it out, but they don’t seem to be able to TAKE it very well. ;o)
I’m sure the NAACP and ACLU will be there alright: siding with the Unions. :)
You're right, it's more important than a schoolyard fight, because the stakes are so much higher.
Oh, my, singing that song would certainly cause some ‘Linda Blair’ moments among the union thugs.
VERY good information!
I would be afraid that having armed support on call could end up escalating a fist fight into something much more tragic. Any such tragedy would certainly be spun to make us look bad even if the SEIU started it. I think a better idea would be to have the police aware of the protest ready to respond if there is any trouble.
At first I wanted to hop on a plane to be there.
But why go looking for trouble? When it comes to you - kick its ass, because any attempt to intimidate, frighten or silence deserves an ass-kicking.
But look for trouble and you will end up looking like a thug yourself.
That being said - I’d still love to be there. I guess I’m in a picking-a-fight mood.
If that's the case, then the ESL folks should be on the side of the black man who was beaten down by the Union goons. The folks attending could create signs to that effect.
I'm sure that Jesus will be with them in spirit, but for help on the ground, the CAVALRY might be a better option. ;o)
I’m proud of you! That fat bully probably thought that his mere presence and size were enough to intimidate. He probably had NEVER encountered someone like you. I’m a fairly small female, and I’ve taken on two overbearing, bullying bosses (verbally and privately), and they backed down like little boys, usually with a “Sorry, m’am.” I think people can sense the fire in our eyes and bellies.
