Tampa, Florida - Angry protesters and strong supporters are clashing inside and all around a health care reform town hall meeting in Downtown Tampa. The meeting which was scheduled to begin at 6:00 at the Children's Board of Hillsborough County drew hundreds of people who quickly began to overwhelm staff and event organizers at the front entrance.

Funny thing is...if the excrement should hit the fan, I'm willing to bet that the number of us who actually know how to use a gun, well outnumbers the gang-bangers who think it is cool to hold the gun sideways.

I would like to see some good, healthy debate on this issue. Nothing is accomplished by trying to out-shout each other or resort to name-calling (both sides were/are very guilty of that). I totally understand the anger and frustration being shown by those who tried to participate. We were lied to about it being a public “town hall meeting”, our President and elected Congressmen and women brush us off and call us “nuts” because we dare to ask basic questions. Our pockets are being picked bare. What else can you expect from us except righteous indignation.
This is as grassroots as it gets! By no means was that astroturf and the hundreds of people there are not robots under the mind control of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, or Todd Schnitt - we choose to exercise our brains and use common sense and we can see where this healthcare plan is going to take us

This IS fascism from the top down.And if such bogus , stacked meetings continue, with lock outs, there will be bricks and rocks coing in through the windows. What is WRONG with these idiot leftists dems?

What is the limit of $5,000/10,000 individual/family on payouts per year. So we are going to have to pay for the insurance AND pay for the services AND pay the taxes AND lose jobs due to the employee mandate fees?

In American Politics, he who shouts FIRST shouts the loudest. Democrats are not used to seeing US in the streets, and they don’t know how to respond to it, hence the “ASTROTURFING!!”, and “PAID SHILL!!” comments.
