Its looking more and more like the forged Kenyan birth certificate released by Orly Taitz on Sunday was a prank by a supporter of President Obama. Politijab points to an anonymous blogger at FearlessBlogging, who has uploaded four photos of the original forgery and a mocking declaration:
Fine cotton business paper: $11Inkjet printer: $35
1940 Royal Model KMM manual typewriter: $10
2 Shilling coin: $1
Pilot Varsity fountain pen: $3
Punkin the Birthers: Priceless

The fact is, the nitwit forger has actually helped the cause of those who demand proof that 0bama is Constitutionally eligible to serve as POTUS, i.e., the increasing number of questionable certificates floating around purportedly representing the birth details of Barack Hussein 0bama means that only by releasing the ORIGINAL VAULT COPY that is being held by the State of Hawaii can we know for sure whether or not the person occupying the Oval Office actually has a right to be there.
So to the forger?
*THANKS* pal, you’ve raised the stakes and increased the pressure on The Kenyan Usurper to either prove his bonafides or follow the advice in my tagline.
I am one of the "they." My first post to that thread was #13. While the "Is this really it?" thread grew faster than any other I have seen, exceeding 7000 posts actually required over three days, not just one night.
First, I believe that there is a difference between a photograph of a document and a document or copy of the document. Second, even assuming that it was, I read the statute to require tha the document be “in or affect[ing] interstate or foreign commerce.” So, if it turns out that Orly purchased the document, and the person mailed, faxed, or emailed it to her, then it’s in interstate commerce. However, if it showed up slipped under her door in the morning, or if it was simply emailed to her w/o any payment or other “commercial act,” then I don’t think that the action falls under the statute.
Point of Order....
Foolscap was the standard size paper at the time.
Unfortunately, if my memory serves, the current President of Kenya is one of our esteemed President's cousins who he helped into power by campaigning for him. Not looking for much justice in Kenya.
I would think another essential element of due diligence would have been to obtain an account of the document's provenance from the source of the document.
Orly's filing such as it was was for the resources to do just that.
That was the cause of my immediate skepticism when I first heard of the document. Who would have requested the certificate in 1964, I asked myself, and how did it subsequently fall into unfriendly hands? Not having a satisfactory answer, I started off assuming it was a forgery.
Actually this was answered very quickly, this document was dated to coincide with the divorce between Stanley Ann and Barack Obama, Sr. These proceedings started in January of 1964 and the Divorce decree was granted in March, so the timing was very convincing rather than being a problem.
Instead, most people keyed in on the issue of the Republic of Kenya thing that seemed premature because Kenya officially became a republic in December of 1964.
Frankly, much analysis went into many of these issues and came up with the only way to answer most of these questions was to get an actual copy of a similar document from the exact same period and location. Which would require someone to go to Kenya and find another Copy prepared in this time region, something that would cost thousands of dollars, take perhaps a week or more and be done at some risk.
Also, it appears Orly never had anything to examine beyond the bad photo of the document that was posted on the web.
This is a point of controversy. If this was clearly known at the beginning folks would have simply ignored it. The photo we had was purported to be of a document in Orly's possession. If this isn't the case, then we were misled.
Zooming in on digital images of limited resolution is no substitute for a loupe on a physical document, as numerous posters on these threads have learned. Is it an E or K?? LOL! Sheesh!
I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes thinking about it if I believed that Orly only had a photo of the document. A photo keeps you from examining the ink on the paper. You can do anything if you are allowed to keep a document examiner away from the paper.
Pixel abuse is no way to examine documents.
I agree, a big waste of time as far as authenticating something. It has its uses if your only purpose is to debunk.
I don’t think this is the same document pictured on SCRIBD by Orly. The folds look weaker, and the stain is much lighter.
I realize that slight changes in lighting and positioning (relative to the camera) might account for some of this.
There’s so much conflicting data flying around, that I’m going to just remain open-minded about all of it. I’ve been mistaken too many times in this saga to jump early on anything I see now.
This is what Orly wanted, the judge didn't even get around to the question of whether that was reasonable, he kicked it because of not being filed properly.
Its not my business to defend Orly. I know she is taking in incredible risk, working without resources or support, and in my eyes, despite being flaky, doing as good a job as anyone else and better than most considering the circumstances.
There are many better qualified, richer and more powerful attorneys who could do a much better job, but they are afraid or don't care. So Orly soldiers on, and hurray for her.
You got to learn that being on F.R. is free, but our words are not always tailored by silk or cotton or sugarcoated. So if you are too soft skinned, this is NOT the place for you. But that is all up to you, FReepers or birthers have their own mindset and you can’t change that. The discussions here can be quite heated sometimes. With that said you are welcome to stay. It’s all up to you to get the most out our relationship!!!
It must really irritate you that all these Freepers don't worship at the feet of your beloved messiah, as you do.
I don't think I can ever remember you having a cross word to say about him, or ever failing to come to his defense on the bc threads.
You don't even question his legitimacy. The perfect tool.
It would take me at least two to three weeks to go through them all, so I rationed myself to read only the answers to my posts. It was just unbelievable but fascinating!!!
Wow. Looks like the person who posted the “punkd” fake had better head back to the sewer they slithered out of. This is serious business.
Come to think of it, whoever made Obama’s fakes had better join them.
Wouldn’t you still have the actual BC just ~3 years after the birth? Or I should say I wonder why you wouldn’t?
They would laugh you out of court.
I just had an exchange of emails with a liberal, in which we argued about the health care bill. No matter how much reason, fact, and logic I applied, this guy simply refused to accept anything I had to say.
I honestly did my very best to show the guy that this bill is bad business for America, but he wasn't having any of it.
I had to give it up. There's just no one home, with these libs.
A couple of days later, I realized that my long-standing policy of not engaging liberals in conversation is totally correct.
I then realized that this nation has now passed something of a point of no return between left and right. We will not educate them. They will not listen to us, and in fact, mean to destroy us, and I do mean literally.
Some awful times are a'coming.
If my memory serves, Obama's cousin didn't win. He went on a killing rampage after he lost instead. Fully endorsed by Obama no doubt.
And while neither of us may like it, Obama is the president and he while not being intellectually qualified is constitutionally qualified.
And I also believe that Obama keeps the BC story out there in order to keep a portion of his opposition chasing their tails.
WRONG! He hasn't proven he constitutionally qualifies.
That seems to be something you can't grasp.
I don't know about you, but most people here can do more than one thing at a time.
