It’s looking more and more like the forged “Kenyan birth certificate” released by Orly Taitz on Sunday was a prank by a supporter of President Obama. Politijab points to an anonymous blogger at FearlessBlogging, who has uploaded four photos of the original forgery and a mocking declaration:

Assuming that this is legit, it was always the most likely outcome. The vast majority of FReepers were not simply posting "THIS IS REAL THING!!!" but were doing their best to determine whether the Taitz document was valid or invalid, as they did with the Bomford document. The extent and quality of FReeper research was extraordinary.

So what has this taught us? That FReepers care about the U.S. Constitution, and that a liberal forger does not. FReepers were not PUNK'D, just diligent.

Hey, I’m sorry to sound so typical, but I haven’t read the thread, just glanced at the pictures. To me this looks like a fake debunking. The cert pictured in the second picture at WND doesn’t look like the Orly cert. For one thing, the stain or burn is quite different.
