It’s looking more and more like the forged “Kenyan birth certificate” released by Orly Taitz on Sunday was a prank by a supporter of President Obama. Politijab points to an anonymous blogger at FearlessBlogging, who has uploaded four photos of the original forgery and a mocking declaration:

If she "believed" completely, why would she have asked the court to help authenticate the document? She presented it as "unauthenticated". Doesn't sound like a "true believer" to me.

If all Orly had is a picture, then she did us a disservice by posting it. If she has a real document in hand, then she had the obligation to have it examined by a Document examiner to see if it was an obvious fake. (ie ink jet or laser graphics.)
Either she has it or she only ever had a picture. This is where that is at.
As for Mr. Punk, he has copped to forging a B.C. document whether or not it is the one in Orly's possession.
Orly will have to answer these questions when she returns from Russia.
Forgery is just another way of being a dirty liar.
That makes perfect sense, if the document is being submitted with the implicit or explicit claim that the document IS what it purports to be.
But does that apply when you submit a document precisely for the purpose of requesting that the court conduct an investigation of the document? It seems absurd that a lawyer could be penalized for asking a court to conduct an investigation of a document. That would appear to require that no lawyer may ask a court a question unless the lawyer has certitude that he knows the answer.
Your saying that — with nothing to back it up or explain how the points I made are wrong — doesn’t make it so.
I believe that’s called “character disorder” in psychiatry—not knowing the potential consequences of one’s own actions.

Hey, thanks for responding to me.
I am more familiar with wikipedia than FR; I was only lurking here for a couple days when I decided to make an account and join this topic.
One thing I notice about this site that is even worse than wikipedia is that being newly-signed up apparently makes anyone automatically guilty of something, or up to no good, until proven otherwise, in the eyes of some here, like you. (Like *your* opinion really matters to me!)
Look, I don’t really even know if ANY of these documents are fakes; reading all the emerging evidence on this site has actually swayed me back and forth innumerable times in the past 4 days.
All I can tell you is this: that if you can find someone with admin level access on wikimedia Commons, they can hopefully verify that an entirely distinct “official Kenyan document” for Obama (possibly also forged) was uploaded on August 2, 2009 - and that all the info on there matched the “Certified copy...” which we have all seen.
We are SO way over due for doing that....along with making the lives of our elected officials miserable.
I am happy as a Lark knowing that it was an Obama guy who fabricated this...

The law as noted in post 80 of this thread is against producing such a document, not selling it or anything else, if you are not authorized to do so, producing it is breaking the law and carries the criminal sanctions specified.
