Why would Kenya tell the truth?
This conflicts with what WND said on Sunday: WND was able to obtain other birth certificates from Kenya for purposes of comparison, and the form of the documents appear to be identical.
The "verified 1961-era Kenyan birth certificate" is labeled "Government of Kenya", but in 1961 and until 1963, Kenya was the "British Crown Colony of Kenya". Parent's Nationalities are both given as "Kenyan Citizen", which really isn't correct for 1961, it should have been something to indicate the status of Kenya as a Crown Colony, perhaps, "British Subject" or "UK".
According to a posting in the Washington Independent, a "source" said the document was nothing more than an alteration of a "certified copy of registration of birth" from an Australian "Bomford" document that also had been posted on the Internet.
"There are striking similarities between this document and the one Orly Taitz is passing off as a 'Kenyan birth certificate' for Barack Obama," the report said.

"What's more likely – that two Kenyan bureaucrats shared last names with two Australian bureaucrats, and that the numbers on both certificates were identical? Or that someone used this document, available online for anyone who wanted to look, to forge the Obama 'certificate?'" the Independent report asked.
In the absence of some other South Austrailia "Birth Certificate", all one can say is that one of them is a forgery, but which one?
Or it's a different document. A registry entry rather than a copy of the registration. Note that they Taitz document refers to a Birth Register, as the original "source" document. Since it does have the signature of the "informant", apparently a district official, it is likely a copy of the original, rather than an "abstract" like the Taitz document or for that matter, the "Obama" COLB.
There is no seal at the top of either the "Kenyan" or the "South Australian" documents. They are on the bottom left, and the SA one is much larger.

We know his mother did fairly well, at least in her first three terms at the U. of Washington, where she apparently got 3 Bs and 3 As, while tending to her less than one year old baby for a GPA there of 3.5. In High School her GPA was 3.35, which might not sound too good today, but in 1960 that was pretty good.

Like a COLB, the documents merely point to official records, in many countries that is a entry in a log, not an individual document for each birth. That's why the Kenyan/Austrailian document had Book and Page numbers, so that the original record could be verified if necessary. That record would *normaly* still exist and have a decent chain of custody. But Kenya is run in part by Obama's cousin, Raile Odinga, who got his position by turning his thugs loose to burn and pillage, after he lost an election. Still a reasonable actual document might open up the records in Hawai`i via a court order. Those would have a good chain of custody, but would actually be easier to falsify, since there would be a single file for each person, most would be a single document. Persons who were adopted, or changed their name other than by marriage, might have more than a single document.
Maybe someone contacted Farah and told him he better lay off or (.....) might happen to someone.
Because none of what WND says makes sense.

Gibbs has suddenly started talking about the birthers in press cons. Why is that? Either Rahm is letting him tread in a very dangerous area for Zero, or, Rahm WANTS him to rattle that cage. I think Rahm is evil, but not stupid.
Meanwhile, the DNC is trying to convolute the grass-roots opponents with orchestrated RNC moves.
What they’re obviously trying to do is to jujitsu our energy and use it to marginalize and delegitimize all rational opposition to Zero on anything.

Great. So we essentially agree! The absolute best hope for evidence to remove a seated US president would come down to, at best, two easily falsifiable pieces of paper. Game over.
America had a chance to avoid this mess in 2008.
We have another chance to castrate this imposter's power in 2010.
If we keep playing into Rahm's birther/hater/loony-right playbook then we'll scare off the sensible middle for 2010 and hand him the dirty Chicago victory he's happy with.

One major problem (or two) is that (a) so many Repubs in DC seem to be eager to capitulate and (b) the thuggery in campaign and elections will only intensify. Any Rs (what to to speak of conversatives) will have to win by landslides to overcome the dirty tricks.
And the media will only be more whorelike as well.
My hope is that more regular Americans will see the evil 0 for what he is.
I'm not as confident of that as you are. Swine Flu or the Heebie Jeebies, may cause a postponement of the fall 2010 elections. Although more likely "who counts the votes" will turn out to be decisive in that election.
