A document unveiled by a California attorney in her quest to determine President Obama's place of birth has been condemned as a forgery by critics who deride as nonsense the challenges that have been raised to the president based on the U.S. Constitution's demand that the Oval Office occupant be a "natural born" citizen.
But those on the other side, who would like to see the original documentation of Obama's birth place revealed, say there are factors that indicate the Kenyan birth document could be real.
WND reported when the document was submitted to a California court by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has managed several of the high-profile cases challenging Obama's eligibility to be president.
Then yesterday, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., raised the dispute to the floor of that august body, protesting in a speech added to the Congressional Record that the dispute was not worth one minute of time.

For starters, the folds certainly do not match.
A Place to discuss Bomford vs Obama
Why would the folds have to match?!!?
They don’t. But if you are going to use an online doc to create a replica, then you would need to digitally remove the folds of the “original”.
Why would the folds have to match?!!?
That’s what I say. ?? I thought the whole point was, that it could be an entirely NEW document DRAFTED from a similar or same FORMAT.
So it would not matter, create a new one from a template, give it some custom folds for authenticity and viola!
Bomford AKA Bamford likely to be a scam artist.
Gotcha. Thanks.
Ugh.
Like the guy on ebay trying to sell a Kenyan BC
.
LOL!
The Family Plot sickens!
No such country. The Republic of Kenya was not proclaimed until December 1964.
You might want to tell WND that...
“No one at WND not me, not Jerome Corsi, not any columnists, not any reporters have defended the authenticity of the Kenyan birth certificate. No one here has made a judgment that it is real. What we did was report a fact that California attorney Orly Taitz has filed a motion in federal court to determine its authenticity. “

There is much dispute about that. Yesterday we found numerous references to the Republic of Kenya prior to their official declaration date.
If one IMAGE of the unfolded document were used to make another, I’d be very difficult to change the fold locations and phases.
Did you look at Orly’s site lately? WOW!
http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/blog1/
There were two things that who knows are true sources or if they are playing games with Orly but wow:
State Dept employee and a Kenyan who says he was born around the same time at the same hospital and they match. Registrat Leavanders is real????? Anyone read this yet?
I wonder if Orly has the real deal and the left is in panic mode?????

Carl says: I cant identify myself here because Id lose my job. Im a low level employee of the US State Department attached to the Overseas Service and I just finished a conference call with two lawyers in London and two journalists from Politico.com who all stated that they just left a late meeting at the London Foreign Office and they were assured that The Kenyan birth certificate is without question, 100% authentic. Im not surprised.
kitau says: I happen to be Kenyan. I was born 1 month before Obama at Mombasa medical center. I am a teacher here at the MM Shaw Primary School in Kenya. I compared my birth certificate to the one that has been put on by Taitz and mine is exactly the same. I even have the same registrar and format. The type is identical. I am by nature a skeptical person. I teach science here and challenge most things that cannot be proven. So I went to an official registrar today and pulled up the picture on the web. They magnified it and determined it to be authentic. There is even a plaque with Registrar Lavenders name on it as he was a Brit and was in charge of the Registrar office from 1959 until January of 1964. The reason the date on the certificate says republic of Kenya is that we were a republic when the copy of the original was ordered. I stress the word copy. My copy also has republic of Kenya. That was written before this piece. And they are not claiming it to be valid now. They are reporting the controversy over it, or did you bother to read the piece?
And WND says they have legit Kenyan BC’s and they match the form. Hmmmmm. Still, the entire episode may be fake. But it will be us, not the idiots that came up with the fraud Bomford who ferret it out.
