Is Paul McCartney secretly a Dittohead?
The 60,000 fans attending a recent concert at FedExField in Baltimore must have thought so.
The former Beatle dedicated the performance of the song he co-wrote with John Lennon, “Michelle,” to the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.
“I love you, I love you, I love you. That's all I want to say,” McCartney crooned following his dedication.
Long before the McCartney fawning, though, while her husband was still a candidate radio talk show host extraordinaire Rush Limbaugh gave Mrs. Obama the moniker “Michelle, My Belle,” a take off on the Fab Four tune.
Being part of the entertainment biz, McCartney predictably was a backer of Michelle’s spouse during the 2008 campaign and even told People magazine he wanted to sing to “Michelle” someday.
The first lady was not present to hear the McCartney serenade because she and the president were away on one of their multiple vacations, this time at Camp David.
An unsubstantiated rumor is floating around that when a recording of the concert performance is played backwards, it mysteriously repeats the words, “El Rushbo, El Rushbo, El Rushbo.”

Oh barf I’m glad I didn’t attend after all. The concert was not sold out and they were pushing tickets heavily all last week.

Seriously, there seems to be a disconnect from reality happening with Michele Obama. She has got to be, without question, the ugliest 1st lady in history, and yet we are deluged with magazine covers and such touting her beauty. Are DU Dummies and other true believers really that brain washed that they can’t truly see how ugly she is?

I woke up to an old Beatles song this morning and was amazed at how great it sounded, some 45 years later.
The two remaining Beatles should grow old with grace, and be careful not to tarnish the natural affection folks have for them and their work.

Wow. Paul was always great,but when Linda died,it took a lot out of him. He’s not grounded anymore. He truly lost a huge part of his being when she died.So sad.

Lennon had bad taste in women too but at least John figured out that Lib benefit concerts were rip offs and promised NEVER to do another one.
Paul (I refuse to use Sir Paul) was not very gracious when he spent some time in Nashville many years ago. He bitched about being invited to the country all the time and people insisting that he see the countryside. “We have countrysides in England” “I have a farm” vented the Beatle. I’m sure some Nashville fellas may have been less than diplomatic as well but McCartney was a so and so.
True. I find him so dislike-able since Linda died that I can't stand to even hear about him...Yes I know I came to this thread but knew I was just going to write this and go on to something else.
