OHm c’mon, the details here are beyond the expertise of teens, at least American teens. First of all, they would have concocted a birth certificate, and not a certified copy with a date 3 years after the fact; and one in which the logic works perfectly. Right down to the usage of the word “nil.” That’s way beyond the sophistication of a teen.
There is a lot of healthy skepticism on TS, but there is a ton of too-cute-by-half self-flagellators treating this too deeply.

THIS Kenyan birth certificate fits the timeline for those who know the timeline VERY well.
I recommending using Google to research more on THIS:
-- the Registration of Documents Act (R.D.A) 1901, revised in 1962 and 1980 (Cap 285) governed the Principal Registry is in Nairobi for the whole of Kenya, except for Coast Province, which has a Coast Registry.
-- the Ten-Mile Strip of Coast Province. It was a rather unique area with a unique history. Land disputes continue there today over events of the early 60s. In the end, I'm sure we'll find that an "E. F. Lavender" lived there while the area was in transitioning from being a British Protectorate to ALMOST becoming part of Zanzibar (I'll post that later on this thread). Still checking on that, too, but I think it'll pan out.

THAT'S AN AWFUL LOT OF EFFORT spent to de-legitimize a "BUNCH of KOOKS" and "CONSPIRACY NUTS", especially just preceding the emergence of THIS document.
The Republic was declared between Oct and Dec. 1963. The date you are using is the date the United Kingdom recognized that independence. The declaration came a year earlier.

There are duplicate Kenyan records in Great Britain. If the Birth Certificate is in Book 44B page whatever it was it should be easy to find. Further, there are names of people who held public positions. There is a signature of one of those people. If the names match up and the signature matches up then it lends credibility to the document.
Finally, I'm split about the Republic of Kenya thing. However, it should be fairly easy to verify whether that heading was used at that time.
My advice is to remain cautiously optimistic and verify the document. Neither accept it, nor reject it based upon partial information.
It is at very least VERY VERY INTERESTING. I love the time line and how it matches up with the divorce. Further, I'm wondering if Zero's long form Hawaiian Birth Certificate was filed as a non-hospital verified BC. I think they have BC 1-5 for verification. If it is simply verified by the family it would prove NOTHING and they know it would make the issue worse. That may be why they refuse to show it.

On 1 July 1895, it became part of Britain’s Kenya protectorate (the coastal strip nominally under Zanzibari sovereignty).
Mombasa was part of the state of Zanzibar until 12 December 1963 when it was ceded to be incorporated into the newly independent state of Kenya.
BUT it was the Mombasa District in the Kenya protectorate.
Not an error on that document. Makes it even MORE feasable it could be genuine.
