All of last week I was half-way wondering what was with the din of leftwing hysteria and the sudden full-court against “birthers”.

It seemed as contrived and coordinated as most everything in our media etc these days - and just as politically driven. It almost seemed as if they were pro-actively attempting to discredit something.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the fact this document would service soon was know in various circles. It’s certainly potentially significant enough so that some very real resources would be directed at knowing this.

If it’s real and those various circles knew it was about to be released - the sudden barrage of spin last week would be entirely consistent with it being real.

Seems almost like some are overly-anxious to throw this one under the bus.

Perhaps it’s not a plant.

That's the camp I fall into. Everything else is just useless noise. People should have stipulated from the very beginning that Barry was born in HI. He still doesn't meet the eligibility requirements of the POTUS for the very reason you cite.

So long as people are searching for the "magic birth certificate", or lack there of, they won't be addressing the legitimate claim of illegitimacy - just the way Obama wants it.

One thing IS certain...This is all Obama’s fault for being so secretive about his past. I don’t understand people that think this will ‘hurt conservatives..blablahbla’ or it’s a ‘set-up’ to make us all look ‘nuts’ or ‘racists’. Think about it for a minute...if Obama, Rahm and Axelrod are playing political games like this..it really does reflect badly on them more than anyone else. They are suppose to be ‘busy’ with’ doing the business of the people’..not playing juvenile games of hide and seek on the internet nor is it good use of the ‘peoples time and money’ to be spending millions of dollars to obfuscate Obama’s past records.

If you had read the WND article, you would see that they DID compare it to another certificate from the same period and THEY MATCHED. And both were signed by E.F. Lavender!

Let's see.

1) The article doesn't say they compared it to a certificate from the SAME PERIOD. They might have compared with a 1965 document, which would explain why the comparison document had "Republic of Kenya" heading and seal...

2) You say both certificates were signed by E.F. Lavender. That's not correct. The Article only shows a single certificate, two pictures of the same certificate. The article doesn't state who the registrar was for the comparison certificate. No image is provided for the second, comparison certificate.

3) WND needs to provide a picture a comparison document dated before december 12 1964 that has "republic of kenya" heading or seal. If they can't (and I really doubt they can!) then this document is presumably a big fake.

I tried to find something about EF Lavender earlier. I failed, but I did notice that Lavender seems to be a relatively common name in Kenya.

Take my case for instance - 3 different times I applied for a Fed. job. Went through the whole process including test, physical, interview and background check. Met with OPM investigators for several hours and answered several questions in which I knew they would investigate. And investigate they did, to include ex-wife and neighbors I had several years prior.

My question is - Did they do the same for Hussein Obama?

I hate to break it to you but that kind of thing has not been done to any presidential candidate. We generally rely on the really long campaigns to do the "vetting" process. Not saying it's right or wrong but it's no different from any other President.

Many of these Yahoos won't let this play out proclaiming it a forgery on the flimsiest of evidence. While the Obama COLB took weeks and months of going over. As you see Obama gets a pass for everything. You can't question the Faux presidency....in time we should have an answer.
