The entire birther argument, that Obama was actually born in Kenya instead of the US, making him ineligible for holding the office of the President of the US, is a spurious argument. It plays into Obama and the liberals hands - they want this to continue since it makes regular conservatives and opponents into fringe wackos.
Not one of us would've looked harder at his legitimacy than Hilary Clinton and the entire Clinton smear machine during the Democratic primaries. That magic bullet would've given Hilary the presidency - and yet nada, bupkis.
There are many valid reasons to oppose Obama and the liberals, but his birthplace isn't one of them.
Why would you say that? You don't know me. We just disagree on something, but you have to make personal attacks? How small of you.

1. His birth records were not 'sealed'. State of Hawaii has stated clearly his records exist and show him born in Hawaii. Obama obtained and released the standard form you get to certify your birth records - the COLB. If there is a form you fill out to get some other records from state of hawaii, birthers need to show how its done.
2. What do school records have to do with where he was born? NOTHING! The only thing that could prove his 'guilt' on is his mediocre academic record.
We continue to see the birther movement built on a foundation of logical fallacies and typical conspiracy-theory bogus mindset-thinking. Presume guilt and throw out any evidence that exonerates him as being tainted. Kangaroo court logic.

They are of zero relevence to determining where Obama was born. Obama didnt share them because he was a mediocre student, thats all.
What evidence do you have that Obama was, in fact, born in Hawaii? Were you there? Can you name a single living witness to the birth?

You’re propagating false information.
Obama has expended more than a million dollars on private lawyers preventing the release of his birth, college and passport documents to his employers, the American people, according to Gary Kreep of the US Justice Foundation.
Secondly, you’re wrong about the suits. The primary Keyes case, which is being handled exclusively by the US Justice Foundation, does not claim that he is not a citizen even if he was born in HI. It simply demands release of the appropriate paperwork so that we can know if he really meets our Constitution’s clear requirements to be President.
You’re doing a real disservice to FReepers.

Why this claim to secrecy when Obama HAS shared his COLB, the standard form you ask for and you get from state of Hawaii when you need birth certification?

Who is "they?" Do you mean Stanley and Frank?
Even if he has something in there that he is ashamed of, it does not necessarily give us the right to see it. Even if it were something that would be politically damaging.
This information has come straight from one of the main lawyers confronting these people in court. You're just plain wrong.
I agree! Ban the birther word. It’s a ‘label’ to discredit. We’re Americans and that should explain our quest for truth.

Helluva strategy. And yet, I’ve seen zero proof that he isn’t a citizen, just hearsay and bluster.
Flawed theory. The state of Hawaii have pretty much vouched for the COLB. Both parents are listed. they are also listed in the newspaper birth announcements of aug 14th 1961.

I’d like for you to quote an instance when I ever said that. In itself, asking the president to reveal his records is not nutty. It’s commonplace in politics, in fact. But the Birther issue is not all about Obama being open, any more than the Kennedy conspiracy theorists or the Truthers only care about the government being open.
If you haven’t heard the wild accusations and baseless claims made by Birthers, you’re deaf. As a credit to them, they always end by saying Obama could and all the speculation by unveiling his records, and that that’s all they want. They do so to come off in the best light. And they really believe it, don’t get me wrong. But they’d never insist on it as strenuously if they didn’t have some preconceived notion in their head as to why he was hiding something.
I’ve noticed in recent weeks people have backed off on saying just what he’s hiding. Some even say they don’t know what it is, just that it’s “something”. This does not change the fact that it all started with people who thought he was born in Kenya. Without that supposition, there would be no movement. Without the implication that he’s illegitimate, no one would spend any more time pushing for the birth records to be unsealed than for the media to look into college records or medical records or his sketchy Chicago years.
