Throughout the 2008 campaign, Barack Hussein Obama claimed it was a “smear” to refer to him as “Barack Hussein Obama.” The candidate had initially rhapsodized over how his middle name, the name of the prophet Mohammed’s grandson, would signal a new beginning in American relations with the Muslim world. But when the nomination fight intensified, Obama decided that Islamic heritage was a net negative. So, with a media reliably uncurious about political biographies outside metropolitan Wasilla, Obama did what Obama always does: He airbrushed his personal history on the fly.
Suddenly, it was “just making stuff up,” as Obama put it, for questioners “to say that, you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections.” “The only connection I’ve had to Islam,” the candidate insisted, “is that my grandfather on my father’s side came from [Kenya]. But I’ve never practiced Islam.” Forget about “Hussein”; the mere mention of Obama’s middle initial — “H” — riled the famously thin-skinned senator. Supporters charged that “shadowy attackers” were “lying about Barack’s religion, claiming he is a Muslim.” The Obamedia division at USA Today, in a report subtly titled “Obama’s grandma slams ‘untruths,’” went so far as to claim that Obama’s Kenyan grandmother is a Christian — even though a year earlier, when Obama’s “flaunt Muslim ties” script was still operative, the New York Times had described the same woman, 85-year-old Sara Hussein Obama, as a “lifelong Muslim” who proclaimed, “I am a strong believer of the Islamic faith.”

Those of us with rational minds knew all along that he has NO honesty.
Those who voted for him just don’t care, no matter HOW many blatant current examples of his dis-honesty are presented to them.
Don’t mention Hussein, islam, his big ears, his ultra-liberalism, or constitutional standing. Too bad there wasn’t an actual campaign last year.
If even NR is mentioning this then it’s not going away.
Something is clearly in there that Obama doesn’t want people to see - something that may expose him to some kind of false swearing charge, or at the very least expose his “compelling biography” as a fraud.

This dishonesty affects all parts of the Administration. I am completely disgusted with the racial politics surrounding this president.
When people disagree with him, its because they are racists. When he promotes the health care program (as he admitted in a 2004 interview) to “disproportionately assist people of color” he’s not considered a racist.

I believe this ARROGANT administration is showing how arrogant they really are...how? By not showing the original certificate...they are basically saying “screw you, we are in charge and what are you going to do about it”?
I really believe that the Clinton’s (during their campaign) would have researched this and proven he was not born in Hawaii...don’t ya’ think?

This is a 530-foot tape-measure home-run of an article. McCarthy cuts to the chase of why Obama’s “vault copy” birth certificate is important. Not because it’s going to prove that he’s not eligible for the Presidency, he almost certainly is. But because he and the mainstream media have a documented record of LYING about his background and his life.
Release the birth certificate, Mr. Obama, and ALL of the other historical information that you’re hiding. As one of your predecessors at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW once found out to his and the nation’s detriment, the cover-up is always worse than the crime.
