A funny thing happened on the way here. I passed some protesters in front of the Capital protesting that there is no PA budget and they are not getting paid. I stopped for a second to watch and a lady asked me, "What do you think?". I answered. "You voted the idiot (Rendell) into office so your getting what you voted for".

I’m thinking-
If it’s government owned with affirmative action doctors protected by Civil rights. No tort would be available against the government.
No doctor is going to preform a unnecessary procedure on a child. And the red pill blue pill thing. While red pills might might be as effective as blue pills some people can't take red pills because of side effects. So they have to take the new more expensive blue pills. Also if government mandates people only take the cheaper red pills it will kill development in newer blue pills. Also 0bama has said you get to keep your plan and your doctor if you like them. Well if you like and trust your doctor shouldn't he be the one that decides what pills you should take and not some government official?

I once dated a doctor from a third-world country where all medical personnel were of course employed by the socialist government.
No such thing as malpractice lawsuits there. He told me that a doctor can “kill” four patients through negligence before the authorities look into revoking his license.
