Thanks, I suppose. I left Detroit for good in 1970. The home in which I spent my first fifteen years is gone. The Catholic school I attended is a burned out brick shell.
More people need to know the story of Detroit. We tend to think that civilization will always move forward. Detroit is late proof that civilization can shift gears and move backward.
