Bill O'Reilly has called Free Republic a hate site and he may now have some ammunition to back up that assertion.
"A typical street whore." "A bunch of ghetto thugs." "Ghetto street trash." "Wonder when she will get her first abortion."At a time when the administration is seeking any reason to squelch any speech it deems "hate", as well as the entities where that speech may be found, what the hell were these people thinking? These are a small selection of some of the racially-charged comments posted to the conservative 'Free Republic' blog Thursday, aimed at U.S. President Barack Obama's 11-year-old daughter Malia after she was photographed wearing a t-shirt with a peace sign on the front.
The thread was accompanied by a photo of Michelle Obama speaking to Malia that featured the caption, "To entertain her daughter, Michelle Obama loves to make monkey sounds."

More to the point, what were his thoughts on Letterman's remarks about Palin's daughter?
Nobody endorses that. This whole story was generated by a lib coming over and posting offensive stuff and then reporting on it in the Vancouver paper and on Kos.
Its made up!
I think what has happened in the past — and what may have happened again — is that old inactive accounts have been hacked.
Okay, fine. How about some “perspective”. NOWHERE in my piece did I ever say “all” in reference to Freepers, nor would I ever. Now, please allow me to “get all victim” on you.
As a black conservative, I freely accept all the crap I get on an almost daily basis from the tolerant, inclusive left. I could have just sat back and said nothing, or I could do what O’Reilly will surely do Monday night and do a drive by. I am here facing the music.
Like all family members, there will always be differences, and you all are part of my proud conservative family. But when RNC personnel send out Magic Negro CDs, or our elected make stupid statements, it hurts us all.
Free Republic is VERY important and ANY intolerance must be snuffed out or everything we’re trying to do on the front lines will be for naught. If I’m no longer welcome here, say so.
I have spent years illustrating the hate speech from Kos and DU and will continue to say so, but we all know how our world is. They can use hate speech hundreds of times a day. One slip on our part will be magnified in an attempt to whitewash all they’ve done. We all know this and ANY hate responded to (in agreement or not) should be condemned and not get all victim over it.
Us hitting the abuse button. I've never been a button-pusher before, but times have changed. I also think we ought to adopt an informal policy to avoid posting pictures of O's daughters, period.
We can still mock Michelle's toned arms.
<<
But when we do catch them, racists more than anything are our favorite target to zot.
>>
FR admins do better than any other forum I have ever seen. Morons are inevitable, but they meet their fate pretty efficiently here.
Anyone screwed up in the head enough to trash an 11 year-old girl with racist slurs should be kicked the hell out of here!
Yes, what you said. I am not going to beat up the entire site and everyone here for what a few dopes (or plants) said. As if we just didn't go through 8 years of the most vile and disgusting comments about Bush and Cheney and Condi Rice and our military and not just from random commenters on websites but from elected representatives and supposedly mainstream media.
I am not given to over the top comments, but I don't see this particular first family as being more off base than any other. I don't care about race and I will not be intimidated.
You know, "I'm a big Palin supporter, BUT....!"
>> More to the point, what were his thoughts on Letterman’s remarks about Palin’s daughter?
Yeah, I agree, that’s an even better question.
Are you seriously suggesting that the entire site is tainted because a few signups posted stupid comments about Obama's daughters? I can't wait to see your next article where you argue that the Internet is tained because people use it to argue that the Holocaust never occurred..
“Whats to prevent someone from the media to come here and post hate messages then go back and pull them up and say See??”
Nothing can stop something like this. It is up to numbskulls like O’Reiley to do some research (like he always says he does) and prove things like this for what they are, plants.
Hey O’Reiley, next time you want to slam a conservative site at least have the balls to tell the public you didn’t look past your nose to do any investigating.
That said, you Freepers want to keep our site going, open, free from big brother hacking away at it? We’ll have to be more proactive in telling some of the plants to keep their comments to their own sites, you know, the ones that are really full of hate, all leftist.
Really? I didn't know about that. I'd like to hear more! I don't know how it all works, but what you said would certainly explain why the suspicious "senior" personae had such large gaps in posting history.
I, for one, enjoy your posts and insight.
>> ANY intolerance must be snuffed out
Really? ANY intolerance? Who decides what is intolerance?
From NewsBusters.org, June 9, 2009...
Seven months after Election Day, and the attacks on Sarah Palin keep coming.
On Monday, CBS's David Letterman on the "Late Show" shamelessly went after the Alaska governor and her family during his opening monologue, as well as in his "Top Ten" list.

9. Laughed at all the crazy-looking foreigners entering the U.N.
8. Made moose jerky on Rachael Ray
7. Keyed Tina Fey's car
6. After a wink and a nod, ended up with a kilo of crack
5. Made coat out of New York City rat pelts
