The Daily Kos has a post up quoting MSNBC personality David Shuster's Twitter page stating his show will be covering the controversy over Free Republic and comments about Malia Obama:
@mikelord @thejoshuablog. We will cover this monday: http://bit.ly/3pqS7M. But follow @joetrippi for what can be done on-line. about 2 hours ago from web
The embedded link goes to the Vancouver Sun hit piece posted earlier to FR
Over at Twitter, the leftists are all in a hypocritical lather over FR.
David Shuster is on sometime mid-afternoon East Coast time Monday-Friday.
It has always had anti-American connotations. That's a fact.
Pssst... Malia is not leader of the free world. And there is no established protocol for what the 11-year-old daughter of the President should wear while eating gelato in Italy on a summer day. I think she looked cute. When she was on official outings (such as at the Vatican) she dressed up, as is appropriate. For sightseeing, she looked like a normal, cute little girl.
For one, there was a picture of her talking to her daughter with the caption saying she had learned to speak “monkey sounds”.
We can attack her positions, attack her racist statements, point out her hypocrisy, her $900 handbags and $600 shoes, her general air of entitlement, without resorting to absurd, stereotypical racist comments.
Hope she doesn’t get impregnated by A-Rod, I mean, after all, she is A HELL OF A LOT BETTER LOOKING than her maternal parent, wouldn’t you agree, Mr. Shuster?
She’s black, so she’s automatically from the hood in some people’s eyes. That’s the cause for much of the “hood” and “ghetto” pseudo-language thrown around on many threads. Too many people here are being disingenuous in trying to make the argument to be one about the symbolism of her attire, and how it reflects on the U.S. The problem wasn’t people deriding the “peace” symbol on her shirt, it was how they went about it.
Just because the left is despicable in their references to conservative and republicans’ children, doesn’t mean it’s right to do it back. It’s even possible to complain about the girl’s attire without resorting to the language of the left.
Is the leftist media one-sided and looking to hurt FreeRepublic? Yes. Do they have a double-standard and ignore the behavior of the left? Yes again. But that doesn’t mean we have to give them the ammo for which they’re looking.
You did know all Leftwingtards are "sterile" and cannot reproduce except by kidnapping.
Should we faer David Shyster?
Calling something "a fact" doesn't make it so. There are millions of perfectly good kids walking around America wearing peace symbols. I assure you they are not choosing to wear "anti-American" symbols. They like "peace", they like to be "retro" and they think it's a cool looking symbol. That's all there is to it.
You’re living proof that tenure here does not equal wisdom.
So I suggest we Reagan them in return.
She DID look cute...I never said she didn’t.
(shorts were shorter than my girls wore...but hey.)
I still say....it was inappropriate for the PARENTS to allow the CHILD to dress this way.
Please note ye lurkers one and all: I said PARENTS!
Sheesh
"We" being defined by the stupid asses who never think before they post their mindless crap. It doesn't matter that the thread was pulled; it doesn't matter that most of us aren't anything at all like that. Some FReepers, unfortunately, are precisely that idiotic, and they're loud.
Just by its nature FR is vulnerable to being misrepresented by the idiots who unthinkingly post their wild crap. "We" wouldn't be susceptible to Alinksy tactics but for them.
NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, is allowed to change the meaning until the people it targets are all dead, and we ain't there yet.
Obama knew that and that's why he sent her out there in that T-shirt.
They are trying to torpedo Palin and skewer FreeRepublic...THE ONE’S numbers are going down the toilet and he might tank. I smell desperation. SO, ammunition is the ugliness towards Palin family for FOX News to remind everyone—done by mean DEMS. Ought to give them some sleepless nights.
We all know what a wonderful caring liberal you are, Charles. I generally disagree with ninety percent of your posts, but acknowledge that you make your points with class and without malice.
Now will you fight alongside us or continue your preaching?
No different than a Che Guevara shirt.

Another hood photo. Dig those pants on the dude.
Also groin leeches. Don't leave them out.
Just saw that term today and thought I'd bump it on.
Seven months after Election Day, and the attacks on Sarah Palin keep coming.
On Monday, CBS's David Letterman on the "Late Show" shamelessly went after the Alaska governor and her family during his opening monologue, as well as in his "Top Ten" list.
