That’s what you have to compare Obama’s to. i.e. Bush in July of 2001.

Like I said. I'd love to do that. I haven't found the raw data from Rasmussen (they want you to pay, maybe?). So why isn't there a readily available chart overlay of Bush's numbers on a chart like the one soflofreeper posts -- >

Sagging popularity, weak foreign policy, (relatively) expensive oil, huge deficits.

Is this 2009 or 1977?

2009 vs 1977 are the numbers I’d like to see.

We need to disregard primaries all together, and choose our nominee through caucuses.

Wait til they see next stimulus put in place. If I wasn’t crying, I could nearly laugh at their stupidity.

That’s probably entirely new leadership in the RNC. From Steele on down the line.

you’re right. these ratings are dropping pretty fast. I imagine he’ll be about -5 or 6% by the end of this year. Maybe 10% by next election time.

Bush’s approval rating SOARED after 9/11. The democrats saw this and sabotaged the Iraq War as a strategy to gain easy votes preying on people’s fear.

Your Obama will not be in office 8 years as Bush was.

Gerald Rudolph Ford, Jr., said that his greatest “accomplishment” as president was putting John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court. Need we elaborate further?

People have had enough.

The higher the unemployment level gets, the higher negatives become.

How many of those "1500 likely voters" polled are employed, full time? And, by whom (public or private)? FNC should poll the "likely voters" at the Welfare Services, filling out forms for unemployment.

“and I STILL have not yet been polled”

My bet is that you don’t live in an urban center type city.

St. Louis Metroplex, but yes in the surrounding county, not the urban city center itself.

Doesn't matter. ACORN will make up for any lost support by registering imaginary voters who will show up on election day, and the MSM will once again pull out all stops.

I pray to God I am wrong, but I don't see any way he loses in 2012.

Reading quotes like that makes me wish there was truly a viable alternative to the Republican Party.

I agree. I believe the vote fraud can be as much as 10%—very difficult to overcome.
