Mitt Romney, you Socialist RINO quisling, I will never vote for you.

Oh, Myth Romney, how do I loathe you! Let me count the ways. (in no particular order)

10. TAXES: As the Governor of Massachusetts, you raised "fees" (taxes) by nearly $730 million. In fact, at a 2008 presidential debate, you said that it's appropriate for governments to charge fees and provide services. And, in 2007, at a campaign event in Iowa, you called flat taxes "unfair." (OnTheIssues.org/NewsMax)

9. HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA: In 1994, you favored allowing unabashed homosexuals to openly serve in the U.S. armed forces. You also favored allowing homosexuals to participate in the Boy Scouts, and you were endorsed by the Log Cabin Republicans. (OnTheIssues.org)

8. CLIMATE CHANGE: In 2008, you told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that "there’s nothing wrong with dealing with global warming." Of course, it's okay with you as long as it's done on a "global" scale. Oh, and in 2004, as Governor of Massachusetts, you introduced the Massachusetts Climate Protection Plan, a package of policies that acknowledged the existence of anthropogenic global warming. (John McCain for President via FR/OnTheIssues.org/The Boston Globe, 2004-05-07)

7. SECOND AMENDMENT: In 1994, you favored strong gun control laws. In 2009, however, somehow you managed to convince the NRA to let you address their annual conference. (OnTheIssues.org/KSWT CBS 13 Yuma, Ariz. via FR)

6. RIGHT TO LIFE: In 2002, during your campaign for Governor of Massachusetts, you pledged to “preserve and protect” a woman’s right to choose (abortion). Now, you claim to be staunchly pro-life. (Scripps via FR/OnTheIssues.org)

5. IMMIGRATION/AMNESTY: In April 2009, you said that the Republican Party needs to pass "immigration reform" (amnesty) in order to attract new voters. In a 2005 interview with The Boston Globe, you described the McCain-Kennedy "comprehensive immigration reform" bill as "reasonable." In 2007, you told The San Franciso Chronicle that illegal aliens needed to register with the government so that some could return home while others received legal status. (The Miami Herald via FR/OnTheIssues.org/The San Francisco Chronicle via FR)

4. MORE GOVERNMENT REGULATION: In April 2009, you told The Hill newspaper that: "We as Republicans misspeak when we say we don’t like regulation. We like modern, up-to-date dynamic regulation that is regularly reviewed, streamlined, modernized and effective." (The Hill via FR)

3. SOCIALIST ECONOMIC STIMULUS & FINANCIAL SERVICES BAILOUT: In January 2009, while Obama, Pelosi, and Reid were offering the now infamous Porkulus Maximus, you offered a smaller $250 million stimulus proposal. [McCain offered a slightly larger proposal of nearly $450 million.] Nonetheless, government intervention in the economy is decidedly contradictory to the conservative principles of small, limited, Constitutional government. Also, in September 2008, you told Michigan residents at an event there that the financial services bailout was absolutely necessary. (The New York Times/The Detroit Free Press)

2. OBAMACARE = ROMNEYCARE: your signature government-run health care is a dismal failure. Nonetheless, in May 2009, you cited it as one of your "best ideas," praised it in July 2009, and in May 2009 said that "the best path to healthcare reform is to let the American people make their own decisions, not have those decisions forced on them by government." [Never mind that Romney Care forced decisions on individuals residing in Massachusetts.] Oh, and your health care plan formed the basis for Obama's Socialist health care "reform." (The Daily News Record via FR/CATO/The Salt Lake Tribune via FR/The Boston Globe via FR/Fox News via FR/The Boston Globe via FR)

1. Jim Robinson refuses to support you. (FR)

In other words, Mr. Romney, you are a two-bit, flip-flopping, lying, Hispandering, Socialist-loving, globalist son of a (*$#%@. You are a RINO, a Socialist, and a traitor to these United States. Oh, and you praised Obama (CNN via FR) and attacked Palin (Politico via FR) at least once.

You suck. You shill for Obama. You're a younger, slicker, craftier, Mormon Juan McCain. You are too cuddly with the real RINO Juan McCain. Figures. RINOs of a feather flock together...in Rinonia!

In summary, I will never vote for you. EVER. I will sooner vote for a real conservatarian before I support you.

Oh, and by the way, as you go down in flames in the 2012 GOP primaries, do us all a favor and take both of the McCains, Giuliani, Huckabee, Grahamnesty, and the rest of the %$(&%@@# anti-American RINOs with you.

As for Mormonism, it really does not matter to me what religion he is.

Darn right. We now have a guy that was brought up in a faith that- straps bombs onto Down syndrome children, flies aircraft into our buildings, stones women that have been raped, performs genital mutilation on women, videotapes the decapitation of Jews and infidels, forcibly converts Fox news anchor Centani, and believes in Ginnies. One sect even believes that they must self flagellate and mutilate, or the spirit in the well will get really pissed. But they are a religion of peace.

Could be worse, I guess. Funny skivvies, no smoking or drinking, and saying bad things about Presbyterians. The horror.

It just creeps me out to see the kind of bashing he gets over where he goes to worship.

I don't like to see anyone bash anyone elses religion. At the same time...

Until 1978, Mormons did not allow African Americans to hold any position of authority in their church.

Further, on the issue of Mormon Proxy Baptism, many Christians and Jews are deeply morally and religiously offended.

Mitt Romney has been both a stake president and bishop in his church, so it's not just about where he goes to worship. He's been part of the hierarchy of his church.

It is entirely unreasonable to think that people (particularly African Americans and Jews, but also Christians whose faith are at odds with Mormonism) won't use that or other information to form decisions about Mitt Romney's character and worth as a candidate.

I can rattle off the faiths of more than half of all US Presidents. It has always been an issue. Why should Mitt Romney get a pass?

You have to wonder where that whole ‘freedom of religion’ thing disappeared to...

Seriously? Come on.

No one is saying that Mitt Romney can't or shouldn't be Mormon. But do you really expect any candidate anywhere to get a pass on what helps form their sense of morals and their decision making process?

I agree.

I'm really leery of 'vanities' that spew vitriol against one candidate or another without indicating their suggested alternative.

Okay, so we know who you're AGAINST, but who are you FOR?

And for the record, "undecided" doesn't cut it, because you know that's just a cop-out and a way to prevent others from dismissing your choice.

Reagan's commandment: "Thou shall not speak ill of another Republican" is clearly lost on you. You are not a keeper of the flame, but its extinguisher.

"Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans,
has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced
,
instead tapping registered Democrats or independents -- including two gay lawyers who
have supported expanded same-sex rights, a Globe review of the nominations has found.
Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats
or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians
or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show.
In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters,
and 14 registered Democrats."
- Boston Globe 7/25/2005

Romney Rewards one of the State's Leading Anti-Marriage Attorneys by Making him a Judge
Romney told the U.S. Senate on June 22, 2004, that the "real threat to the States is not the
constitutional amendment process, in which the states participate,
but activist judges who disregard the law and redefine marriage . . ."
Romney sounds tough but yet he had no qualms advancing the legal career of one
of the leading anti-marriage attorneys.
He nominated Stephen Abany to a District Court.
Abany has been a key player in the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association which,
in its own words, is "dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision
on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated."
- U.S. Senate testimony by Gov. Mitt Romney, 6/22/2004 P>

"Romney announces he won't fill judicial vacancies before term ends
Despite his rhetoric about judicial activism, Romney announced that
he won't fill all the remaining vacancies during his term - but instead
leave them for his liberal Democrat successor!

Governor Mitt Romney pledged yesterday not to make a flurry of lame-duck
judicial appointments in the final days of his administration . . . David Yas,
editor of Lawyers Weekly, said Romney is "bucking tradition" by resisting the urge to
fill all remaining judgeships. "It is a tradition for governors to use that power to appoint judges
aggressively in the waning moments of their administration," Yas said.
He added that Romney has been criticized for failing to make judicial appointments.
"The legal community has consistently criticized him for not filling open seats quickly enough
and being a little too painstaking in the process and being dismissive of the input of the
Judicial Nominating Commission," Yas said.
- Boston Globe 11/2/2006

“The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.

The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.”
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006

"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
“Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,”

[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."

As far as I can tell he trolls for Ron Paul, The fantasy of some that Ron Paul will be the last man standing is bizarre. Yet this isn’t definite. The spew is indistinguishable from any DU troll trying to stir up republican intermural wars. Almost impossible to tell them apart.

Cindy Sheehan named Ron Paul as the one republican she liked. And why not, their basic tactics and objectives track very nicely. Essentially two sides of a coin.

The Dems would love to see Romney as the nominee because they know they will win if he is the candidate and that conservatives will stay home.

When conservatives stay home or are luke warm about a candidate, the Republicans lose every time.

Smell like anti-Semite/anti-Zionist trollbait to me. Maybe go back to Huffinglue Post or I Heart Nazis.com (otherwise known as Douchebag Underground). Have a nice day.

Wrong, Bucko. I am unashamedly PRO-USA, and Anti foreign interference. If you want to send your money and progeny to fight a proxy “war” over the League of Nations Palestine Mandate; knock yourself out. The Israeli's are the most Socialist nation on the face of the earth.

If you desire to promote Socialism and faux Zionism, you are free to do so. Do not pick my pocket for your little adventure. Find some more ignorant willing donors. Heck, all you need to do is invoke the name of God and Jesus Christ. Guilt people into the whole concept and NEVER forget to invoke National Socialism. Adolph who?

Good rant, at least up until the Mormon reference.

Mormon men believe they can be gods, lording it over their own planet with multiple wives to populate their own new planet/world. Mormons expect nothing but subservience from their women. Their women have the sole role of spitting out new Mormon souls.

If you agree with this, you are probably Mormon. If you think there is only one God, then you probably don't want people to know about the truth. If you are Mormon, you probably expect the same outcome for all of your tithing and temple work. Mormon men expect to have a lot of wives to give them lots of "subjects" to adore them.

Mitt Romney is not psychologically sound, if he thinks he can be a god, nor historically conservative, as his record reveals. He's just another rich guy with power hunger. He has no role in this Christian's life, and it is BECAUSE he is a Mormon.
