10. TAXES: As the Governor of Massachusetts, you raised "fees" (taxes) by nearly $730 million. In fact, at a 2008 presidential debate, you said that it's appropriate for governments to charge fees and provide services. And, in 2007, at a campaign event in Iowa, you called flat taxes "unfair." Oh, and in 2004, as Governor of Massachusetts, you introduced the Massachusetts Climate Protection Plan, a package of policies that acknowledged the existence of anthropogenic global warming. In 2007, you told The San Franciso Chronicle that illegal aliens needed to register with the government so that some could return home while others received legal status. [McCain offered a slightly larger proposal of nearly $450 million.] Nonetheless, government intervention in the economy is decidedly contradictory to the conservative principles of small, limited, Constitutional government. [Never mind that Romney Care forced decisions on individuals residing in Massachusetts.] Oh, and your health care plan formed the basis for Obama's Socialist health care "reform." I see many folks post here about the perceived shortcomings of candidates. And met a few, just this evening, that are vehement about mormonism(?) being a distinct disqualifier. I do not know much about that, but I do know that Islam and the Muslim faith are not compatible with the USA. And we have a muslim President. Thanks to these people that post this kind of inane BS.

This is rich coming from an “oldtimer” that was politely corrected by some folks that have tremendous respect (even from a N00B). Again, go good and live life well.
IMHO, bringing up his religion only weakens the argument against him with those who do not know or care about his religion.
