I guess I’d have no problem if an accurate adjective were included. For example: “Erik is morally retarded.” I think that is accurate and offensive to no one.

The author should be fired. He isn't going to be fired, because the HuffPo people probably got a kick out of it until all hell started to break loose.
They're small, mean spirited people at the HuffPo.

Yes, we KNOW Leftists are scum but... pray tell me... why are McCain people (still) bashing Palin? Is it some sort of
dog-in-the-manger thing they've got going on?
...and...um... Are they gonna get over it any time soon?

It’s a kindness to call it an apology. Sounded more like an excuse meant to cover their rear ends.

McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone to two parents who were serving our country overseas. They were more than happy to spread rumors that he was born in Colon, Panama, and not born in a US Protectorate, and was therefore not a natural-born citizen and not eligible to be President. You are a significant contributor and worker but with all due respect, McCain is an honest man and his birth certificate is posted on line for everyone to see. He was born in a hospital in Panama and under the sovereign power of that country. No way he meets the "natural born" constitutional test.
Wouldn't matter even he had been Born in the "Canal Zone"--it isn't part of the geographical United States either and was then and is now subject to the sovereign power of the nation of Panama. Even if born in the Zone, he isn't a natural born US Citizen.
McCain had a further "citizen when he came down the shute" problem--the statute law which would have later operated to have made him a citizen at birth was not effective as to him--thus he wasn't a citizen when he was born at all.

Yeah I can see that- but I think the word shoudl be wholly disconnected from those who are challenged, and reconnected with peopel like Erik who lack any sense of shame or decency

The point I was trying to make is that the same people who are cracking on the “Birthers” now were birthers themselves with respect to McCain.
I’m not sticking up for McCain in any way.
I’m skeptical of anyone who does not have a valid birth certificate, and none of the alleged birth certificates for McCain are valid. I’ve seen them all.
He probably was born in Colon, but you know how I feel about illegible document copies posted on the Internet.
At least, I hope you do.

"Since you wanted to know what I was going for, it was that Palin said that she was leaving the governorship because of jokes. What kind of President would she make if she couldnt handle some bad jokes? "Sarah never had a problem with jokes, or even attacks on HERSELF. She drew the line at jokes and attacks on her CHILDREN!
