Hmm, I don’t know if this is a good move or not. This will free her up to prepare for a presidential run. Hopefully, that’s the direction she’s heading, but I wouldn’t blame her if she packed it up, and enjoyed a quiet life with her family. My hunch is she’s too much of a fighter to do that though.

I don’t blame her. You have to be a real braindead scumbag to run for political office in Bammie’s new “hope and change” Amerika! The land of the freeloaders.

Reisigning?
Stick a fork in her.
It was fun while it lasted Sarah.

What happened to them was not the question.
The comment was about being a serious candidate for President, which they all were.
She is resigning it has been announced, by the end of the month.
Something is afoot.

What??? What is your reasoning behind this claim? Reagan was CA Gov from 1967-1975 and was elected president in 1980. How did he manage that?
To: KoRn
Sad if true. she is, at this time, the only one I’m intrested in.

She needs to get a national TV show like Huckabee. She would be great, at it would allow her to hone her views and debating skills.
Meanwhile, people would get to know her one-on-one, instead of through the filter of interviews and news reports. She could could become the conservative Oprah. She is that charismatic. Make some $$$ too.

Experience means nothing to the media, as Zer0 proves. Since Sarah has the courage of her convictions, false smears against her won’t work.

Something is afoot. Has she been hiking the Appalacian Trail?
To: penowa
She has said in the past that she wanted be be more influential and play a bigger role in the Rep. Party. You can't do that by staying isolated in Alaska. This will allow her to set up base in the lower 48 somewhere.

She will run for the vacant Senate seat in 2010. In the interim she will spend her time building a warchest, doing speeches and having the country really get to know her.

Remember, she was born in Idaho and that she can make a serious run there as well.

You don’t run for a higher office by resigning from the one you currently hold.

Chairman Obeyme was a street organizer and a senator for 100 days before he announced his Pres campaign.
As a former Governor, Sarah doesn't need no steenking Senator position to run in 2012.
