MIAMI — Speaking via telephone from his home in Tegucigalpa on Monday, interim Honduran President Roberto Micheletti again defended the actions of Honduran military officials in booting President Manuel Zelaya from power.

''We can't allow that this government take us to communism or socialism,'' Micheletti told a group of reporters at a telephone press conference organized by Honduran Unity, a Miami-based group of Honduran activists who support Micheletti.

''We can't allow that this government take us to communism or socialism,''

If only we could get our military to do the same here. Legally, of course.

You know what, when Barack becomes a master at OUR constitution, only then can he judge another country’s constitution.

Actually, the ex-President was acting more illegally than my last post said. The Honduran Constitution only gives the Congress the right to call a referendum. Though the President's party had a majority, Congress refused to call the unlimited term referendum that the President wanted.

The Supreme Court ordered the Army not to participate in conducting the referendum, and the President fired the Army Chief of Staff, trying to reverse that decision, without success.

“If only OUR military officers had the friggen NADS to do the same to Zero and his fellow marxist revolutionaries...”

Given a house vote and a supreme court order they would.

''We can't allow that this government take us to communism or socialism,''

I can resonate with that.

That is correct from all that I have read.

As a side note: I am extremely disappointed in Special Report w/Bret Bair and his panel tonight. He opened by calling it "the first military coup in years in Latin America" and had nothing about the true situation in the rest of the report. Krauthammer offered a weak exposition of the facts yet still called it a coup. Bill Kristol was actually stronger than Krauthammer but still weak and equivocal on the whole.

In sum total FOX News did not serve the truth.

Obama should just loudly and publicly declare that he is a Communist, and will be taking over as a Soviet-style Czar as of today.

I mean, that's what he's demonstrating right here, isn't he?

Obama bobbles another one. I read on Drudge that even Hillary hedged a bit today at the State Department by admitting there was some concern with underlying problems and she wasn’t considering it a coup just yet, which would cut off all aid. While she might be in some trouble at the White House, maybe someone tipped her off that Zelaya’s ballots were printed by Chevez in Venezuela.

The Hondurans better watch themselves and kick out ALL Nicaraguans, Venezuelans, Cubans, Chinese, and Russians (and anyone from a former Soviet republic who is loyal to them)

Dear God,

Forgive us.

The government and people of Honduras are more freedom literate than America. We have forfeited our position as the shining light, and selected a demon as a king.

Judge us, we've earned it.

This from a guy who is a member of that socialist crook Zelaya's own party.

These guys did everything right, and no matter how much pressure that communist son of a whore Hussein Obama and his comrades put on them , Honduras will remain free.

Why am I not surprised?

Here is the telling thing about what happened in Honduras. EVERY Marxist in the Western Hemisphere is against it, including the Marxist Obama who is arm-and-arm with his marxist friends, Chavez and Castro on this.

That tells you that what the Honduras military did at the request of its Supreme Court and w/support from its legislature was correct, and avoided a move by Marxists to circumvent the Honduran constitution and entrench marxism in Honduras.

Bravo for them...shame on Obama, and down with his marxist dogma and ideology!

Typical photo of liberals worldwide!

Here is a pro-Zelaya (Communist) supporter in Tegucigalpa. Take it all in. Where have you seen that smug, angry, issue-laden, psychotic face before?

I swear, liberalism and socialism is much more than a political philosophy, it is a certified MENTAL DISORDER as I have heard US talk show hosts say:
