And how reprehensible your attempts to gloss over and idolize the guy.

Nothing in my post glosses over anything or attempts to idolize anyone. Try a reading comprehension course...

then answer my question.

and since we don't know, do we hope it occurred, or do we hope it never occurred?

Who around here could possibly hope he molested children? That'd be a very sick to hope for, obviously. I certainly hope he didn't, but think he probably did.

You are projecting. You do know that, don't you?

Perhaps it is the repressed wickedness within yourself that sees evil within others. The hatred within you oozes out like the sludge from a dumpster after a warm Summer's rain. You take innuendo and hearsay, paid testimony and personal illusions and foist them upon others when the gnarled darkness is festering within you. You really ought to kneel down before God and pray hard, pray relentlessly, for the wisdom and the strength to cleanse your pitted soul.

I saw that earlier...but, I think it’s someone else. This person has a nose!

Seriously....this along with the body bag being unloaded is just too much.

Thanks for your answer, although I hadn't asked you.

I'll wait to hear from FTP and Mr. Kimball, since you don't speak for them.

“I would not let my kids alone with him. Most parents would not which should tell you the real motivation behind those parents which DID leave their kids alone with him.”

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

As an MD, I find it fascinating that you don’t understand that Mr. Jackson specialized in targeting BAD PARENTS so he could get access to kids. Are those people out there? Yes. And they are like many of you on here - totally star-struck with Mr. Jackson.

THESE are the very people he preyed on. Star-struck simpletons.

YOU might find all kinds of reasons to excuse Mr. Jackson’s activities. You will never get the rest of us to agree with you.

I find the notion vile. I find the gloss-over of who this guy REALLY was, beyond reprehensible.

I don't believe you are an MD. I want to know your previous FR screen name.

I'm cleaning my beak for another bite. Some things have to be said no matter how unpleasant.

Why? I said his music was like a background to my life growing up. It brings back memories of my childhood to my mid-twenties. I'm not glorifying the man.

He's dead, Jim. It's between him and God now.

This video shows Michael Jackson performing Billie Jean and the Moonwalk for the first time at the Mowtown 25th Anniversary.

It’s an amazing piece of history. This performance alone took Michael’s superstardom to a whole new level. Michael was getting calls from dance legends like Gene Kelly asking him how on earth he danced like that. Literally no one had ever seem such a performance.

Hear the gasp of the crowd as they witness the first Moonwalk. Michael then follows that with an amazing spin, which again is another very difficult dance move. On completion of the spin, he bends his knees and rises up on his toes.

Michael stated years later to Oprah Winfrey in 1993 that he wasn’t happy with his whole performance, in particular when rising up on his toes as he had intended to stay up on his toes longer.

Well, I thought the point was convoluted. Would I prefer that a child be molested so I would be proved correct? Of course not.

What I hope, though, doesn't change what did or didn't happen. There were too many confirmed instances of a full grown man with obvious psychological problems paying people money to take their underage children back to his house. He spent the night in bed with them.

I saw the interview where he talked about spending the night with them and the whole "I'd just kiss them and tuck them in. It was very sweet" interview, and it doesn't pass the BS test.

I haven't picked up on these threads that people hoped he was a child molester. I got the impression that many, including myself, thought he was a child molester.

In one sense, I felt sorry for Jackson. He had everything, and went through a complete meltdown. I also think he had some undisclosed medical problems. Some of those came from the butchering of his face during the multiple cosmetic surgeries.

Towards the end, what I found oddest was the number of people who still invested so much emotion in him. Putting all the possible illegal activity aside, he was a walking circus side show. Course, I think the same thing about Britney Spears, River Phoenix, Elvis Presley (towards the end, the 300 pound concerts), and Phil Spector. People falling apart are sad and sometimes dangerous. They're not entertainment to me.

...the impact he has had on pop culture, even if it is ultimately negative, is an unique phenomenon...

I'm not sure what you mean by "pop culture" or even if it can be defined, but there's nothing unique about the "impact" of Michael Jackson. There have been man, many people throughout history who have had tremendous impact on society, in amny different fields and in many different ways. Even in music he is not unique, and this notion, to name just one, that he was more popular than Elvis Presley is simply nonsense, and I'll give you one cold hard fact to prove that. Michael Jackson never had the appeal to middle aged, mature women that Elvis Presley did, who also captured the appeal of younger women, obviously. That fact alone sets Elvis in a category apart from Michael. In fact, I was having this very conversation with a friend of mine tonight while we were in a Dunkin Donuts drive-thru, and as soon as I said it, the middle aged woman who was making our coffee, and who head me, turned toward me and agreed, unequivocally. That's not to mean that Michael Jackson wasn't a superstar in his own right...but unique? Nope, sorry.

It’s funny that the Moonwalk became so popular as a dance step when it’s really closer to Mime. It has a lot in common with Marcel Marceau’s ‘Walking Against the Wind’ routine.

Yes that is a fact that the pervert said that he slept with many children in the same bed that were UNRELATED to him.

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/dcfsmemo1.html

Jackson told Bashir that he had slept with many children unrelated to him, but insisted, “It’s not sexual, we’re going to sleep. I tuck them in...It’s very charming, it’s very sweet.”

When they say it’s not about sex then it is about sex.

I would not let my children sleep in the same bed as Michael Jackson is sleeping in. I as a man wouldn’t sleep in the same bed as Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton because I don’t trust either of those 2 perverts. But if I woke up and found either one of them touching me I would have punched his face in so he’d need 30 more plastic surgeries.

What will the wicked do , what will you do when you face the Lord? What evil have you done and so you think this freak Michael Jackson doesn’t have an evil side? God will punish.

Chunga. Take your “Straw man” and stuff him.

YOU may think its fine for this guy to actively seek out children to be alone with over the decades. YOU may think that a grown man dangling babies out of high window over pavement is just fine and dandy. And that reflects on YOU and nobody else.

When it comes to situations like this - if you don’t “get it” then its because you don’t want to and may well feel some affinity with Mr. Jackson.

Only YOU can explain why.

Care to answer the question why YOU think his “Quest for Kids” is just fine and dandy with you?

Pretty sick you are trying to defend all this. But hey, you represent yourself however you want to.

Farrah Fawcett was a true beauty. I wasn’t around when she was at her peak, but I have seen posters. Every boy had a poster of Farrah Fawcett. I liked Michael Jackson up to when he became a freak show, which I lost respect for him.
