[Updated at 3:15 p.m.: Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told The Times.]
Richards died in 1972....he did so much speed in the years prior to his death that his corpse just cant stay down.
He really, really wanted to be Liz Taylor...
Now I have to wonder if Jackson was high when he held his baby out the window?
Didn’t you hear?. She had you put on double secret probabtion.
I believe his victims.
I would add Joplin, Gershwin, Segovia, to name a few
I’m curious why they haven’t said anything all these years. No book deals, no interviews. Was that part of the settlement?
It wasn't long ago, but it was a different time.
When he first started the metamorphosis, I thought he was trying to emulate Diana Ross.
“...respecting his talents (with no disrespect for those who may have been harmed by him)”
Why, there’s some mental/ethical acrobatics that no sane person would dare attempt.
Whoa!
Yeah, that Dahmer guy killed and ate a few people but, man, could he whip up a mean souffle! What a talent that little ‘ol serial killer had, I tell ya!
Is it just me or is your hair starting to stand on end?
She ignored it.
(This was the last photo taken of her before the lightning strike killed her, BTW)
Watching the coverage on fox. Very sad indeed. He pretty much created pop culture and music videos. May his troubled soul find peace.
“I believe his victims.”

I do NOT believe the multi-million dollar freak baby-dangle man who was obsessed with being alone with young children and had to pay people off tens of millions to avoid prosecution.
I believe his victims. And so do decent people. I find defense of this predator, reprehensible.
One, maybe, and a very minor one; but he still looked like a black man with an essentially negroid nose, and he looked great. I wish he had stopped there. I think the grand total of rhinoplasties may have exceeded half a dozen or more. At one point the end of his nose fell off and they had to build some sort of prosthesis. Pitiful.
He was a freak that at some point wanted to purchase the skeleton of The Elephant Man. He loved hanging around little boys. If that is talent in your book then God speed.
What do those things have to do with musical talent?
I was entering the Pepperdine University campus in Malibu one day, listening to talk radio in my car as I drove up to the guard kiosk. The topic on the air was Michael Jackson and child molestation, the first round, with the case in Century City that was eventually settled for a princely sum to the parents. When the guard approached my car, he heard what was being discussed, and asked me what I thought about it: was Michael guilty? Since this man was tall, black, and armed, I did not want to offend, so I said I didn't know. He then leaned in close to me and said in a soft voice, "He IS guilty. It's all true. I used to work for him at Neverland. It was really bad, really bad." It was chilling to hear him say it, and in the sad, soft tone of voice he used. I believed him.
Yeah those defending the child molester should be the ones being zotted.
Michael Jackson or any other liberal celebrity is not superior or more special than me or any of us.
Although to me Megan Fox and Brittany Spears are far superior to MJ because they are both conservative Republicans not to mention gorgeous females!
Jordy was supposed to testify in the trial of the other boy. He wouldn’t do it. Can’t remember why except he wanted no part of the media hysteria and the rabid fans who were out for his blood. The boy in the last trial and his family were so beaten down by the Jackson machine and media, I figure they just wanted to disappear.
What I heard in the trial left no doubt in my mind that MJ was a child molester. But, the jury disagreed....so, that’s that.
