All humor has an element of truth.
I had a great friend who, like him, was a brilliant artist and childlike person. She committed suicide when she turned 50. She simply could not handle that she was aging. Her face was getting lines and her cheeks were sagging, and she had not achieved inner peace after years of psychotherapy. What a shame she didn't know Jesus; and the same with him -- If his conversion to Islam is to be believed, I pity him all the more.

Yes - basic Christian principles are lost on many of those who love to loudly brandish their Christian credentials.
The “life” he led?? Where’s my violin? He died living in a mansion! He brought 3 kids into his nightmare and made them live it!! At what point was he responsible for anything to do with his life?? Always someones fault...never his fault.
The “he was frail and an artist and sensitive” excuse can’t be used for all his choices....at least, for me it can’t.

It makes me think of the millions of other tortured, but unfamous, souls that have been created by people like him. I think of damaged children and ruined lives.
