I'm going to set aside for now all the controversial things, the questionable things, about Michael Jackson, and say that he was a brilliant musician and performer, who comprised a fair amount of the soundtrack of my high school and college years. That was his peak, Off The Wall and Thriller.

But, even before, going back to my early musical memories, he was there, a precocious little boy with this huge voice.

The world did a number on Michael Jackson, or perhaps he did it to himself. But, he was a very rare talent and an utterly unique individual.

There likely won't be another like him.

Rest in peace, Michael.

Finally, you've found peace.

I couldn’t stand him or his music except for “Ben” which was pretty good.

Maybe he repented of his sins, who knows?

Yes. He was extremely talented. I hope this announcement is premature.
