Agreed. I doubt if Israel could do anything about Iran getting nukes either. I don't think their fighters have the fuel to make it back home to support bombers of any sort.
As far as the US is concerned, I really don't think we can open another front at this point. Moreover, do you really trust our CIC? He won't play to win and get our soldiers killed.
I'd rather find a way to arm the populace. Use operatives to funnel the Irani weapons we found in Iraq back to Iran. The irony alone would be delicious.
This time I think the people will fight for their freedom if we would go in to help them. They seem ready now to fight back.

I am beginning to believe Neda is not a symbol of the desire for liberty in Iran, but, in the US also. We are experiencing the same lack of liberty when our leadership connives and collaborates with the dictates of the Iranian State. DumbO does not know how this is going to play out, but, for me, give me liberty.
