I feel sorry for him and his whole family. While what he did was wrong, I can see how these things happen. Sometimes when something is missing in your life or you no longer enjoy what you’re doing (even if you’re good at it) you look for that escape and fulfillment somewhere else. I think that’s how many affairs happen...this relationship doesn’t sound casual, I think he must have fallen in love with this person.
