That one is in response to a troll from the Slick Willard wars. It has zero credibility on this board. In fact, this entire pogram against Sanford is very typical of the attacks he uses with his paid agents all over the internet. He did the same thing against Palin (and is still doing so).

Considering the history Romney supporters (and the campaign itself) have of drumming up false and sleazy attacks to defame his Republican presidental rivals, I certainly think it is relevant that the person who was attacking Sanford had a big picture of Romney fishing on his home page.
Hey, why not white slavery, too ? I mean he’s evil incarnate according to the lynch mob. I bet he sticks kittens in microwave ovens, too. But all that doesn’t matter, he’s got to be destroyed for missing Father’s Day. That’s a mortal sin.
He’s got a tag on him like all the other Slick Willardbots, that way his supreme majesty knows the whereabouts of all his loons and paid minions at all times.
His staff has stated they didn’t know where he was.
His wife and children stated they didn’t know where he was.
That demonstrates poor judgment on the part of the governor.

The people who pay his salary care what he was doing when he HAD NOT taken vacation time and thus, was on the clock.

That trash should’ve been cleaned out of FR in 2007. All the endless flamewars and sleazy attack threads made against good Conservatives, like Palin, Sanford, Thompson, etc. I’ll bet this thread alone would be a LOT shorter without ‘em.

If your actions are designed to deflect criticism of those who wish to destroy you, you will be as ineffectual as those Republicans commonly referred to as RINOs on these threads.
All your information comes from the media, which means you don’t know the facts. Unless you’ve spoken to his staff, his wife, his kids, you don’t know what happened. Period.
I am only following the same thing with a Republican Governor who has done the same thing. Each state has different rules but in most, the Governor has to advise the Lt Governor that they are in charge.
It is so obvious that some of you are so in bed with Sanford that you cannot see the forest for the trees. If he was a RAT Governor instead of Sanford, some of you would be all over him.
I suppose you think it is okay for ZERO to take off the weekend and work 8-5 since it is okay for a Governor to just disappear. They take the job knowing they are on call 24/7 if something happens. To not be in contact with his family, his office, or the State Police is WRONG and no way you can spin it.
I am not against Sanford but it is not the media's fault that this happened — he left the door wide open. What if something had happened to Sanford? Are people just supposed to sit back and wait for him to reappear?

Well, Sanford said he drove up the coast. I don't buy that for a second-their coast isn't like ours. There isn't much of a road there- to get to the resorts etc.. you have to take ferrys and boats. It's winter down there right now- highs in th 50’s. Not vacation weather. When he returns he wants some “alone time” with him family and then calls a presser.
Something is up. I don't know what. That needs to be discovered. But something is up. There have been way to many false stories and reports he just needs to get out in front of them and tell the truth. I don't want to condemn an innocent man- but I don't want to support a cheater or liar either.
Because this whole thing is a non-story. Every day I expect more slander against this man because he is one of the rare few Constitutional Conservatives we have, and as soon as I saw the crap over the weekend, I said, “Not this **** again.” You have no idea how many people within his own party cheer when this man is attacked by the media, those are the people that want the GOP to be a pale imitation of the Democrats in policy and actions. I wish you’d consider that before joining up to lynch a fine man. You’re a better person than that.

I don’t know, you seem to be impugning just about anyone who has raised an eyebrow as to Sanford’s situation. I think it’s best if everyone just simmers down, because his press conference will tell the tale, one way or the other.
