I am only following the same thing with a Republican Governor who has done the same thing. Each state has different rules but in most, the Governor has to advise the Lt Governor that they are in charge.
It is so obvious that some of you are so in bed with Sanford that you cannot see the forest for the trees. If he was a RAT Governor instead of Sanford, some of you would be all over him.
I suppose you think it is okay for ZERO to take off the weekend and work 8-5 since it is okay for a Governor to just disappear. They take the job knowing they are on call 24/7 if something happens. To not be in contact with his family, his office, or the State Police is WRONG and no way you can spin it.
I am not against Sanford but it is not the media's fault that this happened — he left the door wide open. What if something had happened to Sanford? Are people just supposed to sit back and wait for him to reappear?
Amazing is all I can say.
Because this whole thing is a non-story. Every day I expect more slander against this man because he is one of the rare few Constitutional Conservatives we have, and as soon as I saw the crap over the weekend, I said, “Not this **** again.” You have no idea how many people within his own party cheer when this man is attacked by the media, those are the people that want the GOP to be a pale imitation of the Democrats in policy and actions. I wish you’d consider that before joining up to lynch a fine man. You’re a better person than that.
