Jerusalem launches debate on sharing holiest site (Temple Mt/Dome of Rock)

Espousing a dream of harmony that may stretch credibility among even the most fervent believers in dialogue among the great religions, clerics in Jerusalem launched a project on Thursday aimed at finding a way to share the city's holiest, and most fought over, site.

Even the Jewish religious scholar promoting it acknowledges it might need divine intervention before a peaceful remapping of the area where Muslims built the 7th century Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque on the site of the biblical Jewish Temple.

Invitations to Thursday's launch conference depict a sunlit imagined future for the area Jews call Temple Mount. Happy Muslims and harp-playing Jews mingle between the Dome of the Rock and a new Temple, as Christians walk over from the nearby Sepulchre Church, traditional site of Jesus's resurrection.

The project, headed by Jewish members of the Interfaith Encounter Association (www.interfaith-encounter.org) encourages all three faiths to re-examine the complex and perhaps foster a new theological outlook, making room for all to worship there.

This is almost “unbelieveable” - then again Bibl prophecy is clear that it will happen!!!

The mullahs of Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries put out the formal instruction to Muslims in every country of the world that they encourage interfaith dialog seminars under the smokescreen of “brotherhood” and “diversity” as a politically correct way to lull naive, well-meaning Christians and Jews down the garden path to Islamitization of their countries, cities, families, and selves. Those who arranged the conference are like Stepford Wives.

Yes, there are those that believe that this will eventually begin the final events of the history of the rule of man.

The al-Aqsa Mosque must be removed before the Temple can be rebuilt, and I’ve long thought that the best way to remove it, would be if a Muslim rocket aimed to kill Civilians in Jerusalem would hit the al-Aqsa Mosque instead. How could the Palistinians/Muzzies be upset if one of their own rockets took it out?

There is plenty of room for people of all faiths to worship there. With police and military protection when needed, under Israeli administration.

The relentless pressire from Muslim fanatics and Christian “progressives” to eviscerate Israel will accomplish nothing but discredit its advocates and make Israel and the lovers of justice more resolute.

This is proposed as an issue for negotiation between Jews and Muslims. The fact of the matter is that Christians have an interest as well.

The Temple Mount, after all, is the physical location where the Savior of mankind was first presented as a babe in arms for redemption as a first-born son and hailed as the light of the world.

Here he impressed the rabbis with his intelligence and sagacity as a thirteen year old while turning a teaching session by the religious teachers into a revelation of wisdom by the master of a universe.

It was here that he taught in defiance as an adult teacher hunted by the fearful leaders of a nation. And it was here while revealing the magnanimous nature of the loving Father of all creation that the religious rulers concluded that he must be destroyed.

The sons of Abraham may choose to give this site away but there are many followers of the Master who have no such intention.

For the Abomination of Desolation to occure, the Temple would have to be rebuilt, right? Well there is serious talk of it now. News story from 5/26/09 Raad Salah: Netanyahu will Try to Rebuild the Jewish Temple http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/131578

Things are moving way too fast not to see that something really BIG has been set in motion during this last year. Something very terrible and horrifying. I sincerely believe the World’s times clock is winding down to midnight.

As a young Christian in the 1970’s I got caught up on reading all of those end-times books in the Bible Book stores. The book captivating me the most, being Hal Lindsey’s book “The late great Planet Earth”. The books were fascinating at the time, I could hardly put them down - but the predictions even with the Biblical reference also seemed a little far fetched at the time. Yea, it could all happen, but it would take a hundred years or more I thought.

CASHLESS SOCIETY?
Those end-time book writers said we would someday be able to purchase about anything with the swipe of the card, even a telephone call, the vending machine and a parking lot? A stretch in the 1970’s, but now I hardly ever carry cash or coin anymore. Other that the coffee kitty at work I can go weeks without coin or paper money. To be completely cut off from it would be no big deal. As long as the card scanner worked. Oh and did I mention you could use the card all over the World? How possible was that in 1972? Now we are having China, the EU, and others saying we need to move to a global currency, and now for the first time ever – we are listening. Which brings me to the next topic.

ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT?
We have come along way on this one since Hal Lindsey’s book, haven’t we? Hard to visualize in the 1970’s. Now, its something even the main stream media is picking up on. We can now communicate at the speed of light anywhere we want because of the World Wide Web and satellite communication. We can and are letting the Worlds economy, or our nation’s dept to other nations, and environmental treaties push us in that direction of a one World Government.

ONE WORLD LEADER / ANTICHRIST?
In 1972 It was a great mystery how one man could enter the World stage and become so popular in such a short amount of time, and how this popularity will cross borders. After all he will only have 3 1/2 years to positition himself for the abomination of desecration. Not saying Obama is the One, but with Obama coming out of nowhere in just a few months to become almost a Godhead to hundreds of millions of his Koolaid drinking followers all over the World. I can say now, that this mystery has been solved. If he is not the One, the real antichrist is waiting just off stage, and Obama is preparing the world to accept One leader.

I think it is a bit much to think that the Holy G-d of Israel will permit Pagans to set up shop on what was “holy ground”, but I have been wrong before.

Has not the temple ground been polluted by pagan Muslims?
Muslims believe in “allah” which was the name of one of the old Saudi pagan gods, and Muslims do not believe in the God of the bible, Creator of Heaven and earth and mankind.

It has been said that Jews were not allowed on the Holy Mount by Jews themselves, for no one knows exactly where the “Holy of Holies” used to be inside of the temple, and some Jewish person might step on it.

I admit that I do not understand this, for how can one polluter, be a worse polluter than another one?
