Couldn’t it be rape? Can’t women of all ages can be knocked up and it can be a function of a rape?! IMHO it was an incredibly mean-spirited attack (disguised as a joke) aimed at Sarah Palin thru her daughters. I have an 18 year-old; tho they are as you say “legal,” girls at that age are just starting the journey of adulthood. Sarah Palin is tough, but her daughters are probably privately devastated by this, especially the 14 year-old. Little focus in the media seems to be addressing the impact to the girls.

I would be beyond outraged if this was said about my daughter by a public figure, a father?! He should have known better, but he simply said we misunderstood his intent, but never really defined what exactly that was...to attack conservatives.

So now he says he’s sorry, but we did misunderstand (which sorta means he did nothing wrong) and he get’s a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract extension so he can continue to attack conservatives. Sad. Just Sad.
